    What about 'Ayla'? That's my niece's name. Not quite Layla, and not quite Arya but in between.

    OP, just go with the traditional spelling. My son is called Oscar and i didn't give him another spelling because of the awards- both are names in their own right.

    I love Arya, pronounced like it is in Game of thrones, mostly caus ei think she is pretty awesome!

    If you like the pronunciation of Aria, I'd spell it this way. TBH as she gets older I doubt people would think of the awards. If I think of anything I think of the chick out if pretty little liars.

    Yeah, in Game of Thrones it is pronounced 'ahya' instead of Aria.

    Yeah, it's a bit of both. I thought it was 'Aaia' or something like that until someone from one of the other kingdoms pronounce it 'Aria'.
    Anyway. Random and off topic. Lol.

    Nah it's only Catelyn Stark who pronounces it like that and I figured she had a speech impediment lol!
