I got a photo of ds drinking from a can of coke. I'd tipped it and filled it with water cause he wanted what I had . Nothing but milk and water for him . I couldn't imagine the effects the other stuff would have on him. See plenty of kids way to big to be in strollers been pushed around with 1l cokes with straws .

I am the same as this. I let DS who is 3 have flavoured milk and occasionally juice (watered down still) but soft drink/energy drinks I just don't understand why you would.

It suprises me how many have seen kids having soft drink. My DS1 is 5 and I let him have a taste of my sunkist a few weeks ago and he hated the bubbles. Spat it out!!! Although - I only had about three sips and the rest went in the bin too. Their little bellies must feel so bloated and yucky. As someone who rarely drinks soft drink I get that horrible feeling myself. Poor things :/

I ran into my cousin recently in the supermarket and her 6 month old was drinking chocolate milk out of a bottle. I was horrified. She is pretty dense and figured because it was 'milk' it was good for him. WTF!

My 2 year old has a bottle of milk and a little bit of hot choc in it each morning. Perhaps I need to add this to the things you would get judged for on BH...

I saw a family member fill her daughter's bottle with strawberry milk.

I don't get it, if you want to give "flavoured" milk, why not just whizz up some actual strawberries together with milk?
