    Default Endo and RA

    Hi There,

I had surgery last year in April to remove an endometrioma, a few months after it was removed I started to get sore joints. By Jan this year it flared up bad (and has just gotten worse since then) so went to the dr and was diagnosed with RA. In the last few mths I also started to get the same cyst like pain on my left side so went to the dr again and they found another cyst growing on the same ovary.

Just wondering if anyone else out there has had endometriosis and then RA? Just want to see if there is any sort of link with the 2...

I'm booked in to see a rheumy in about 2 weeks to see what kinds of treatment I can have...

We have also been ttc since about June of last year...just seems like everything is against us and now I don't even feel physically capable of having a child because I'm in so much pain. I just want to feel normal again..

    Hi there,

not sure if there is a link, but it is well known that autoimmune disease can be triggered by things like surgery, pregnancy, childbirth, stress, viruses etc.
