Sorry to hear this Gemini...hopefully time will reveal that everything is okay.

Do you know if it was the scan or the bloods that contributed mostly to these stats?

What has your Ob discussed with you about the next steps?

COMBINED Blood and ultrasound, together. I will be seeing my Ob tomorrow, with hope for some answers of what tests to do next. Pray for a Miracle.

Did the sonographer tell you the measurement for the nuchal fold?

Your must be so worried...I really hope that your appointment with the Ob provides some clarity.

A friend of mine also had a 1:2 chance of downs with her little girl (she was 30 at the time). Her nuchal measurement was a little over 8mm & blood results were also quite high.. She had an amnio & bub was given the all clear. However the amnio doesn't pick up stuff like heart defects etc the doctors were almost certain there must be something wrong with such high results, they monitored her the whole pregnancy, she had many scans in the 3rd trimester & she now has a 100% healthy one year old baby girl!!

I really hope you have the same outcome, best of luck sweety.
