Default MP3 player or radio safe for babies?

    Hello!

My 7 month boy is fascinated by the radio/cd/mp3 players in our home (loves the ABC radio news jingle!!) but I don't want him playing with them as some have power leads and others are old and have peeling plastic and not too good for a baby to eat.

So I'm looking for a baby safe radio/mp3 player - I've seen the fisher price container for the iPod but we don't have an iPod... is there anything out there? Google's not being much help. Thought other mums & dads out there might know.

    Thanks!

There's no need for them to actually touch it right? I think just teach them not to.

I used to put my baby (7+mths) in her walker, put head phones on her and let her hold the mp4 player and she'd cruise around bopping to the music.... she loved it and I got a case for it so she couldn't press the buttons

I think it would be caused to some ear infection if small babies use the music player..

I put my iPhone or iPod in a dock and keep it well away from Bub. She still enjoys dancing to the music but can't damage herself or the player
We also have the fisher price iPod protector and so far she just plays with it while its empty lol. I've been meaning to put the iPod in it but haven't got around to it yet
