Thinking of you Pilbara and sending you lots of sticky vibes. Hopefully it's nothing.

Gilliebean and Kellie- congrats on the great scan! It is a big relief.

AFM: my OB can't see me until 12w 2d so I need to go back to the FS for another scan and referral for the 12 week scan. I got in next Friday the 14th. The FS also offered us another test for downs but it's very expensive and not covered at all. I think we might wait until the 12 week scan and see if we are in a high risk category then think about it. Apparently it is 99% accurate. To be honest I don't know if we would do anything anyway.

    Great news Kelly!

AFM, my bleeding has slowed, and I just got my BT results. the nurse says that my levels are still perfect, so at this point the bleeding is unexplained...I just have to suffer it out until next BT on Friday...

    Hi all,

just caught up on the thread and looks like it has been a very busy week for everyone. Pilbara that is such good news about your levels, my fingers are definately crossed for you and your family.

Exam is over with (phew) so now I can focus solely on this experience...not 100% sure that is a good thing since i freak with every little thing haha. Cannot wait till next week 8 days to go until we know good or bad what lies ahead.

    Have a fantastic day everyone!

Oh Pilbara keeping my for you and hope it all settles down for you soon!

AFM had our first scan on Monday and got a heart beat, now off to Obst for first appointment in 2 weeks time. Good news hearing everyone else's scans went well recently.

CDNinOZ, we also received some info from our FS about a $1200 fetus blood test that we can have done at about 12 weeks for diseases.. I think we will probably pay for it if the obst says we are in a high risk category. Hubby and I are off the opinion that we couldn't deal with a disabled child, easy to say though, may be a whole different story if we find out something is wrong.
