Oh KD0085 that sounds dreadful. It amazes me the difference in people's pregnancies. I hope the MS eases for you soon

Sunshinebell hope your feeling has returned. What did they say it was

Tommi and Gillie not long until gender scans! Are you getting much movement? I finally had some yesterday (great birthday present )

AFM just ticking off the days until our 28/8 late afternoon gender scan

Hopefully my last scan with FS this afternoon! 11w3d, and apparently 200 days until my EDD. I think I also have been starting to feel something resembling movement... on Thurs I had a second or two of rolling pressure, like the baby flipped over or something, then last night when I was nearly asleep, I had a split second of that "butterfly wings" feeling that some women describe. It jolted me awake, lol. This morning I thought I could feel that "bubbles" feeling a couple of times, but it's really hard to tell if it's actually anything this early on; it's so faint and brief that I could just be feeling what I want to feel, IYKWIM. I hope our scan brings us good news this afternoon.

    Good morning and Happy Monday!

10 days till the scan HOORAY!!!! getting closer YAY!!! cannot wait... actually i cannot believe i have made it this far without a scan (6 weeks so far) and not gone insane!!!!

17+3 today and I am not 100% sure if I have felt movement. I think sometimes that I have but my digestive system is insane so I cannot be 100% sure. First baby too and I have been told that due to that I prob wont feel till 18 weeks or so and even then I may not know what it is haha. I WISH i knew for sure, it would make me feel so much better. Even now as I type I feel something but not sure as it is off to the right and only just below the belly button - fairly sure petri is lower than that and more central...maybe

OH KD I am hoping that you have had some respite over the last day or so and Sunshinebell you poor thing, I have never heard of anything like that - though granted I had not heard of MANY pregnancy related things, hoping that you got some feedback on the cause and that it is short lived.

    Have a great day everyone!

Happy Monday indeed 18+3 for me today and I haven't felt many more movements since the first ones, but I know soon I'll be getting lots so I'm not worried. Am starting to get the basic baby list together so we can buy a few little things each payday - only 11 paychecks left until my EDD!

Congrats on being 12 weeks KD! Sucks that you're still feeling yuck though. Twocam - Yay for shopping, enjoy! Tommi - I've been feeling stuff at only 11 weeks which I THINK is movement, but it's so faint it's hard to tell. Definitely doesn't feel like gas/digestion though... Last night I felt about three little "rubber band flicks" a minute or so apart, which I'm about 95% sure was the baby. But whether you feel movement early or not can depend on so many things, so i'm sure you'll start feeling something more definite soon!

AFM, scan was great yesterday.. the baby was quite still, but did do a big "jump" a few seconds in; I'm thinking he was asleep but the probe disturbed him, lol. He had a hand up near his face, "picking his nose" as my FS said. He was measuring 3 days ahead, which was weird because at every previous scan he's been spot-on, so I'm wondering if there's been a sudden growth spurt in the last couple of weeks. I have been feeling extremely tired lately, so if so that would explain it! NT scan is Friday week, on the 30th. I'm kind of nervous about it, and really hoping that afterwards I am able to relax and enjoy being pregnant. I'm going for the blood test component today I think. If I ever get off my butt and get some errands done!

Congratulation KD on 12 weeks!! YAY!! Are you going to announce?

YAY on your scan Sariele, we were the same with the measurements, until 12 weeks we were on track and at the nuchal were told we were 4 days ahead. I have not adjusted the EDD as we being IVF all know the date of conception haha. Though the hospital I believe is using their EDD now?? oh well.

Yeah still no movement that I know of, i think sometimes that it is but dont want to say definately i think till i am sure. Maybe at the scan next week if I see petri move and feel it then i will know for sure haha. Seriously looking at inventing a portable home U/S for expectant mothers lol.

In other news 9 days till our scan!!! YAY!. I am getting nervous...sooo nervous and excited but mostly just want to know little petri is doing well.

OMG twocam when i read 11 pays till EDD i almost fell over - seems so soon when you put it that way!

    Have a great day everyone

Hi ladies, back again woo hoooooo!

KD you poor thing!!!! 10 times in 14 hours is bloody hideous! So glad you are feeling a little bit better and hooray for 12 weeks!

Ohh sunshine that numbness is a bit odd - did you get any answers?

Twocam nothing yet well, nothing very notable anyway, was kinda having some windy flutters last week but nothing of any significance this week Probably was in fact just wind hahahaha! I didn't feel anything with DS1 until around 21 weeks so i might have a couple of weeks to go. Driving me crazy though, I just want to feel something that I can put down to actual bubby movements! I can't wait to get to next Friday! that's a fantastic birthday present, can't ask for much more than that! Hope bubby keeps it up!

Sariele great news on your scan! Its amazing to see them bopping around a bit at this stage. We were, and still are, 3 days ahead but i also still use my IVF date as my due date, even though everyone else uses the scan date. Will be interesting to see how things have progressed at my next scan, otherwise I just have a very eager baby lol

Tommi i think an u/s machine for expectant mothers is a great idea lol. DH said to our OB at our last appt if I had a spare $70k I would buy her one of her own just to keep her quiet lol If you could also make time go faster that would be awesome as well hahaha!

Nothing too exciting happening on our end, we moved DS1 into his "big boy room" on the weekend with his new furniture and he seems to love it! He has slept really well so far which has been a big relief. We wanted to transition him early so he didn't have to deal with so much change all at once. He is one happy little boy showing me his big boy bed all the time lol. Its a bit cute!

I feel like the worst wife in the world at the moment, I am just completely off food, even thinking about food and dinners. I have NO idea what to cook every night because everything I think of just turns me off. Doesn't make me sick, but I just have no craving/desire or tastebuds! Poor hubby comes home from work to me saying 'i haven't done anything about dinner, so I don't know what you feel like eating tonight' and he has to get his own He is very very understanding (and Its a good excuse for him to eat all the stuff that I don't eat lol) but I feel so bad! I just want my appetite to return!

Kd pleased you doing better. Ms is cruel, just cruel.

Girls thanks for checking on me .... went to gp ob and apparently my severe rib pain last week has done a bit of nerve damage and caused the numbness. its still comes and goes. Just monitoring should settle and go.(& another bonus dolpper which is always nice)

we discussed my placenta too. No love making in our house until further notice. Not that phased ... ill do anything to keep bubba incubating for longer but dh better be prepared for a toey b!Tc#

Gillie you be disappointed to know driving home this morning I did the block and headed back to dominos for a lunchtime $4.95. Will be guzzling down twice the water this arvo now.

Isn't pregnsncy charming? Princess burp and farts.... and now my first hemorrhoid!
Seriously how much more fibre can you eat and water can a girl drink?
Thank goodness the palmers butter is working and touch wood no sign of stretch marks!

Twocam love the idea of pay chq wks. Very clever...!

Tommi don't worry about movement everyone is different. And as beautiful as it is then that will be the next obsession ... well I note to myself evrrnight if I have or haven't felt her today.... my obsession

I am bailing out on unpaid maternity at 29wks. Even though I only wrk 2days. We're not entitled to any govt. Ppl or bbonus due to dh earnings, so going to put my health first (those who've followed from beginning might remember I was told due to uterus at conception I was highrisk of premmie.) Now with placenta previa too, just not going to risk it. Work is to physical, be different if I still had desk job.

Dh is a darling. He's awsy at work this week but keep getting ebay parcels. He's been buying his little girl the cutest outfits. Mind you think he's getting his daddy fix as much is pink and sparkling all with Harley Davidson logo - Tshirts, beanies, frilly ballerina pilchers, dresses. She shall have special outfits for days out with dad. (Yes he rides! But no her and I won't be) lol
