Sariele ultra-cautious sounds a good thing - being on top of it is always best.

Angelmama hang in there. Sounds like bub is doing ok so I would focus on that.

Can anyone tell me if MS gets worse before it gets better? Coming up to 11 weeks and I was looking forward to less...not more!

Oh, Sariele, yes, that does sound very encouraging. It sounds like you have every reason to hope for a good outcome! But the added stress is definitely not necessary... Hugs to you!

Thanks ladies. Disappointed because the earliest the specialist can fit me in in 4th Sept!! Can't believe I have to sit on this for a month... Also I just booked my 12 week scan and they couldn't fit me in til 13 weeks... I'm not having very good luck today!

Sariele, I am glad to hear that you have been given some information and have been referred however i can only imagine how frustrated you are about having to wait a month before seeing someone.

You really are in the wars today, however on the bright side you get to see bub at 13 weeks which means that you will have less time to wait for the 18 week scan. I had my 12 week scan at 11+6 and have been going crazy waiting 7 weeks for my 18 week scan which is actually at 18+6 at least you will have 1 week less to wait after. bright side and all that.

Angelamama that is fantastic news from the scan, I imagine that the numbers are worrying and confusing however i had only one blood test at 4 weeks then one 2 days later to confirm it was rising then nothing till my scan at 7 weeks. The doctor was only interested in the scan heart rate and size which were all on track so no more HCG checks so maybe they are not as reliable a measurement of how the bubba is doing. That said i am not a doctor or in any way am i an expert this is all new to me haha. YAY for the HB though!

Hope that everyone is having a great day, the weather here is amazing!

The lady at ultrasound said they focus now on the scan but its my numbers not even doubling that worries me. No one from the clinic has called me except when I got the crappy bt results and then it was just a retest of bloods.

I just don't know what to think and I am a wreck.

Angelmamma if you are that worked up and worried I'd say call the clinic for another phone or in person consultation.
Also don't forget you can arrange to have as many extra ultrasounds as you wish for along with way... (within reason!).

Angelmama I second that - if you are worried, call the clinic. They may not have said anything simply because it isn't a concern. I've only had the one blood test, so no one would know what my doubling rate was, but our scan was fine.

So I need some opinions ladies! I'm 8 weeks 2 days. I won't be having an OBGYN appointment till around 12-15 weeks (yet to be booked)

I'm just freaking out as I'm not sure if everything is ok. Like nothing bad is happening. But you all would understand in the early weeks, symptoms come and go or sometimes not even show... I'm just freaking out.

I know my doc won't send me for a scan to see if everything is ok cause it's not needed medically.

    What do I do??
