    Hi all

There has been some good outcomes the last few days on here, well done

AFM I have had some shooting pains on one side and some bleeding Monday. It wasn't very much but to cut long story short, the doctor wanted me to have more bloods yesterday and an ultrasound.

In my opinion my bloods are concerning as they have only gone up from 3623 to 4532 in 4 days and thats not much but with the ultrasound it should a correct gestational sac, no ectopic YAY because I was expecting that and a heartbeat of 110. At the ultrasound they said it looked perfect for dates and on track but that hcg level has still got me stressed. They think the pain was from the egg collection and my ovaries were still large and for the blood they saw a fluid but near near the baby.

I am due to have more bloods on Saturday but I really am wonder if I should because its making me more stressed with the numbers.

I have read once you have seen the hb, hcg doesn't matter but I am sure they expecting to rise more than mine has.

With my last miscarriage my last hcg was 5728 at day 28 and then 8 weeks I had the ultrasound at 8 weeks and that when they found the slow heartbeat and small sac measuring 6w 2. This is playing so much on my mind at the moment.

    Life is so hard sometimes!

FINALLY heard back from the surgery nurse. She said that my results had only just come in, and if I was really anxious (I told the receptionist I was this morning), I could come in and see a different doctor today, or wait to see my own tomorrow morning. I told her I'd wait. She then asked if I wanted to make an appointment, or if I would prefer my GP to call me instead. I said it was no trouble for me to come in, and she replied, "It's probably best, not to scare you or anything, but so she can explain properly what was found, etc. etc."

So for now I'm holding onto the fact that she offered me a phone consult, because surely if it looked serious I would have to have an appointment, you'd think? Anyway, I'm going in at 10:15 tomorrow, so will try and forget about it til then.

Hugs Sariele, they like keeping us hanging. I think its good they will discuss it on the phone and if urgent you would like to think they would get you in straightaway.

Angelmama - Glad you don't have an ectopic, but I'm sorry things are still a bit up in the air. A good sign to get a HB though!

Wow ladies, loving all the baby names. I
definitely think that it's the hardest part. I haven't even began to look at any names yet. Still feeling sorry for myself with all the MS
Glad everyone seems to be traveling fairly well with no major bumps in the road xx

Sariele - definitely sounds encouraging that they offered you a phone consult. Let us know how you go tomorrow...

angelmumma - so glad it's not ectopic, and you should really take comfort in the fact that the ultrasound showed everything to be on track... Fingers crossed for your next bloods... Xx

loving the name discussions! We have two boys names and two girls names chosen. But like sunshinebell, we aren't telling yet, sorry! The reason we have chosen two names is that we have a few family members with bubs due before ours and we don't want to be devastated if they happen to choose "our" name (or something that we think is too similar)... I also like the idea of a back-up name in case bubs is born and just doesn't look like a "Harriet" or a "Fergus".

Boob update: So there were actually three lesions in my right boob, not two. One big and two small. The report says the larger one sonographically has features suggestive of a fibroadenoma, but FNA is recommended to confirm. The other two couldn't be 100% distinguished as solid lesions; the report says there's a chance they may be "cysts with ins****ated material or haemorrhage".
The GP told me not to freak out, but for the sake of being ultra-cautious had referred me to a breast specialist, who may do biopsies or may choose to ultrasound me again in a few months. So now I have to book an appointment with her.
