Hang in there Sariele, i am thinking of you. A friend of mine had the same thing happen to her and it turned out to be nothing serious I am hoping that you have the same outcome.

YAY Des! Congrats, I remember my 8 week U/S and being happy I had graduated to a normal pregnancy.

Thought I would start a "take our minds off our anxiety topic" - baby Names has anyone been thinking about them? I know that it is early days but I cannot help myself but start thinking about names, I mean this will be our childs name forever so thought I should give myself some time. I have so far got 2 girls with one name we LOVE which is Myka the other being Lenin and 3 boys names, Henry, Lennon again (boy variation) and Jasper. We lean toward Henry though.

That said I have a tendency atm to change my mind haha.

We are screwed if this is a girl, cause DH and I can't agree on any girls' names. We've had our boys' name picked for a while (William), once again cause it was the only one we both didn't mind... It is of course insanely popular, boring and overused, like #2 on the top 10 list or something, but when you have two people who don't like the same names, you just can't be too fussy! lol. We may change our mind on it, but we sort of informally "decided" on it quite a few months ago, so it is pretty definite I think.

Hey Sariele, I like William, I say who cares how popular it is haha, I personally have a very unique name that is welsh and i have never met another person with it. I have even googled it and only found 2 other people with it on the other side of the world haha so personally I love the idea of a name that is popular and normal I cannot tell you how many times a day I have to repeat, spell and provide an overview of the origin of my name to people...can get frustrating haha. That is why we like Henry as a boys name nice, simple and no chance of our child going through what I have haha. On the flip side i do love my name but i guess I have to - it is what i have been given haha

Well we decided on a girls name during ivf months and mths ago. We have never swayed from it.
But only decided on a boys about 2-3wks before we found out she was a girl!

We're not into new age names. Classic all the way for us.

Sorry, I can't share her name... it is a sworn secret between dh and I.
And we like it like that. We told family that this way no-one can have input or judge or suggest. And there is some surprise left for them on her birth day.

But boy its hard not to let it slip when we refer to her by name to each other!

We said just family to know the sex, but I've a ready shared that with some close friends. Oopps.... wasn't my fault ... it was all to exciting.... excitment came over me!

But i will tell you if she was a boy it would have been ......Jack Jason ...

    Xx

So Tommi and Sariele .. Henry and William are right up my alley!

But at the end of the day it only matters that you and your Dhs love it.

I love old Celtic names, my son has to spell and explain his name a lot and he has learnt to listen for various pronunciations when called but he likes it because it is individual and has meaning.
So far my DP and I have not met eye to eye on names for our first, I am not big on anything too standard or popular and his list is full of them . I told him I'll be doing the paperwork so he has no say and I do what I want, not really the case but that is my catch cry mostly.

I love the name Henry but can't have it because there is already a Henry jn the family, ruby and Natalia and they are also in the family so that cancels that out. I am naming my girl if its a girl after my mum Francesca and if its a boy we are totally stumped I love Italian names being Italian we have chosen one Italian boys name but what if we have another boy after we can't agree on any other Italian boys names arrggghhh please be a girl it's so easy!!!!
