Hi all. Scan yesterday went really well. Our little passenger is 1.65cm and had a HB of 174bpm. Feeling much more relaxed now. Next hurdle 12 weeks! Goodluck with your scan Pilbara and Gilliebean. Kelly I feel the same as you, even told my husband that I wish I was hooked up to a live feed 24/7 just so I know how things are traveling. I have a great Friday everyone!

kelly, I am exactly the same, I had the scan yesterday and I know that at 8 weeks with HB the risk reduce significantly but I have not been that nauseas today or yesterday for that matter, so of course I am scared something has gone wrong....I am hoping that I will calm down somewhat after 12 weeks....hopefully....maybe.....unlikely haha

Hi ladies, I had my 7 week scan today, and bubs had a heartbeat of 150bpm I can't tell you how relieved I was to see that tiny light pulsing away! I have a blood clot in my uterus which is what has been causing the bleeding, apparently it is quite large, so I'm not to panic about further bleeding (yeah right, I will continue to panic with the best of them), and FS is confident that it will resolve itself...

    phew.....

As someone who has had a baby before, I have to say, I was no where near this anxious first time around. I think it's because my first was naturally conceived after 3 months of trying, and this one in contrast, has been so difficult to achieve. I think we have all earned the right, by way of having to do IVF, to obsess and panic over every little thing

Great news on the scans Tommi and Pilbara!

As someone who has ad a bub using IVF before I can say that the anxiousness does not get any easier. Even when you have your little one in your arms it just becomes a different anxiousness. It's first time Mummy stuff and completely normal. Just be sure to not let anyone tell you your being overly paranoid or doing things wrong. It will do your head in

AFM: well we had another scan on Friday with the FS. It seems my FS and OB are both going on annual leave which is why I couldn't get a 10 week appointment with anyone. We also discovered that instead of 1 HB we now have 2 (both quite strong at 160 and 164). We have a set of identical twins. I have another scan on Tuesday with the specialist to determine what sort of twins- who knew there were multiple types of identicals- as some are much more high risk. I'm also really concerned about vanishing twin syndrome. Everything I've read is conflicting. Just need to hang on until tomorrow and then we'll know more.

A big to everyone and hope you are all feeling well- or as well as you can be!

CDninOZ that is such exciting news for you!! WOW! must have been a bit of a surprise at the scan. Hoping all goes well today for you and that your two little embryos are doing well.nothing much new happening in my world, which is exactly the way I want it. I am waiting on iron test results to see if i need to increase my iron intake. I am vegetarian, have been majority of my life however of late, due to nausea, i am not eating well at all. i try to eat healthy but cannot get through a meal - concerned that our emby will be malnourished on my awful diet . seriously I welcome any healthy vegetarian recipes, if you have one that you are able to tolerate at the moment send it on through.Have a great day everyone.Only 24 days till the next scan YAY!
