Hubs is much better now bib he went back to work yesterday, so home again next Tues.
Cd 1 for me yesterday so I rang clinic to book a day 21 ready for next cycle. I asked there honest opinion about whether it was best to wait a month due to the public holidays and she said it would be just in case. She mentioned that it's highly likely they will only do EPU on the tues/thurs around that time instead of the usual mon/wed/fri, I don't want to take any chances so ill wait.

Enjoy your time with your mum and sister, what have u got planned? Gl for today's apt u might have already had it, your 3 hrs ahead of me
How r u going precious? Gl Emski u must be so excited

    Morning ladies
@bib. I love spades and shovels. I took no offense. Loved it actually. You sound like my FS. I love people that are direct. I'm very much the same. @Boo and @emski. I'm doing well. Thanks for asking. Well as can be expected
Had my 1WW BT today. Estrogen 308 and Pregesterone 103. Nurse said it was good ??? Google that and had a field day - got nothing lol
feel up and down right now. I think I am. I think I'm not. Grrrr @emski. I had BT and scan on our last PH here. I can understand good Friday but that would be all they would be closed for!! Surprised they guided you away from the cycle. Bit cheeky in think
hugs to the other ladies on here xx

Precious glad to hear u r going well, will u POAS? Before next BT, sending lots of baby dust
I'm glad they were honest though precious, but in a way a little annoyed having to wait another month is a pain, when I'm ready to start again! would be interesting to know if many other clinics alter there schedules slightly due to Easter.
Have a good weekend all, I have my auntie staying over so that will be nice to have some quality time while dh is away, hope u r all well x

    Hi Ladies..................

Booboo: Glad to hear hubby is A-OK and went back to work with no probs. That's a shi**ter about having to wait to do your next cycle. I'm with Precious and think it is a bit BS of them to steer you away from starting this month. However, what's done is done, and fair enough Luv, you want to err on the side of caution, I can understand that. You don't want any stuff up's after waiting this long. This month will fly by and that you'll be off and Cycling!!!

I know my clinic do EPU and transfers every day but Sun, although wouldn't have a clue as to their Easter schedule as I've never cycled around this time in the past. Wouldn't surprise me if they were closed on Good Friday. Have fun this weekend with your Aunty. Have you got anything planned??

Precious: My clinic don't do bloods in the middle of the 2WTorture, so I don't know how to interpret those results. Obviously your progesterone will rise if you're preggo, but because you're taking progesterone support, those levels may be slightly inflated. I know mine were blown right out of proportion and I was on Pregnyl, Crinone and for a little while, vaginal suppositories as well as estrogen/progesterone tabs too.

The 2WTorture always did my head in on the second week, so I understand how you're feeling right now. Analysing every little ping and pang going on down there, thinking you are preggo and then thinking you're not as you said in your previous post, always on "undies alert" looking out for AF and hoping not to see anything etc, etc. Stay strong Luv, you're nearly on the home stretch now.

When's your BT due?? I'm wondering the same as Booboo r.e. POAS?? Do you usually or just wait for BT?? Being the impatient, slight control freak who has occasional compliance issues meant that I always POAS before BT Mind you, AF came a couple of times before BT on Cycles 2 and 3, so didn't need to bother then. and to you Luv!! Am thinking of you and hoping you get that BFP!!!

Big Hello to Emski, Kenta, Mrs P and Domiffy.............

AFM: Doctor's appointment went well. BP, weight gain etc is all on track. Got copy of FISH and Final Report from CVS Procedure and faxed a copy over to WDA's rooms for my file.

Has been lovely spending time with mum. My sister's organised a BBQ tomorrow for lunch which will be lovely to have the family altogether in one place for the afternoon. Got appointment with her oncologist on Monday to see where we go from here. He wants to do further investigations after receiving her notes from the hospital where she lives. He called my sister to tell her after reading them and studying her scans etc, he's a little perplexed as to the diagnosis the doctors from her hospital at home have given her. WTF?? Now none of us know what is going on???

Anyhoo, he will do further investigations to get to the bottom of it and give my mum a definitive diagnosis. Have organised the 3D/4D scan for later this week coming. Ok lovelies, must go for now. Am off to bake some brownies to take over to my sisters later on this morning when I go to see mum

Hope you all have a great day and lovely weekend. Will look out for your updates. Until then...................

Hi everyone hope u all had a nice w/e, mine was pretty busy going out and about shopping and eating with my auntie she really appreciated the break.
How did the bbq go bib? Hope the time spent with your mum and family has been good, brownies yumm!!

How did the apt go with the oncologist? Hope all went well must be frustrating not knowing what was going on

precious how r u feeling now?

Haven't been feeling the best the past few days, have had a achy pain in lower region on one side, find I have been going to the bathroom more often also. Thought maybe UTI but it dosent burn when I go so not sure, if it keeps up I'll go and see the doc.

Had a call from a friend of ours sat night, asking us to go to her get together in a few weeks celebrating another yr married. One of our friends is pregnant and I said how good it was that she was pregnant then I get so what about u guys? I say we r just seeing what happens. She then starts saying oh I know how hard it is when u want it so bad it took 9 years to get my 2nd.
She then says u know if it dosent happen u can find other ways to be a mother blah blah blah and that u can do other things in your life to fullfill your happiness. I have a feeling some of the girls have been gossiping about me, none of them know this ivf stuff though. Seriously didn't want to hear it, especially from someone I hardly ever talk to, it's like she just expected me to open up to her or something. I'm sure she didn't mean to come across the way she did but I felt it a bit offensive. It surprises me how people hardly ever bother much with u but then they want to know about the hard stuff u might be going through. This is someone who didn't go to our wedding, I remember her saying it was so far to drive, it would have been 40min from her!! Rant over just needed to get that out

Hi ladies @BooBoo. I get ur rant. Sometimes people just need to button it. Women like to gossip . Don't let them get to u x
Sounds like you and @bib had a family weekend. Always good to hear

Ive been feeling a little down ATM that's why I haven't been on here much. Think AF is on its way. Called the clinic today as I was worried about CM like in undies. But all they said is that it might be excess estrogen and it's ok and hold out till Wednesday for BT. I CAN'T. I'm going crazy. Boobs are not so sensitive any more. I'm not hungry. Feeling weird but normal. Don't want to POAS
arrrg arrg @BooBoo. Ranting helps x
    hugs to all xx

    Hey Ladies................

Booboo: Rant and rave away Luv!! Look, no doubt she was trying to be helpful and attempting to relate to you on some level while simultaneously trying to get the goss out of you. Unfortunately, as Precious rightly says, women do like to gossip (and some men too even though they'd flatly deny it...LOL). Anyhoo, you've done the right thing with your answer. Even if some of the girls have been talking out of school, don't let that worry you or get you down girl. Pretty soon they'll lose interest when they keep getting the same reply from you and find something or someone else to turn their attentions to.

Yes, it can be hard to swallow hearing "pep" talks from people who..a) aren't even close friends and b) really have no bloody idea what they're banging on about (which really isn't their fault, it just is what it is. If that woman really did try for 9 yrs before conceiving her second, then she has half a leg to stand on in my books).

Am glad to hear you and your Aunty had a lovely weekend together. Nothing like retail therapy, good food and great company to put that smile on our dial and give our minds a break, even for a short while from this IVF caper. Hope you're feeling better now girl, is the ache in the ovary area?? Good idea going to the doctor if it keeps up.

Precious: Hello Luv, been wondering how you're doing. The loss of symptoms like your boobs could be the side effects from the progesterone wearing off, it doesn't necessarily mean a BFN though girl. Only one more day until BT...so you gonna cave and POAS before it?? I understand the dread of POAS and fearing the single line Am keeping my and sending that you get a BFP whether you POAS first or wait for BT...either way.

Emski: Ooooh Luv!! Only 2 more days to go!!! Just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you and keeping and sending you and your DH's way. Good luck girl!!!!!

Kenta: You've been far too quiet Luv. What's going on with you?? Looking forward to your update when you're ready to come back to us

Big Hello to Mrs P and Domiffy too

AFM: Yes, thank-you girls, had a lovely time at the family BBQ on Sat. And the brownie's were delish Booboo Had oncology appointment with mum, my older sister and her specialist yesterday. He wants to present her case to the big wig meeting on Thurs morn (where all the head honcho's from all the cancer disciplines get together and discuss the complex patient cases and decide what to do) then go from there.

As he said to us yesterday, there's no real way to prove/disprove whether my mum's cancer has spread to the bones, it's possible it has or it hasn't and although they can do more PET scans, bone marrow biopsies, bone scans, blood tests etc, it may not always show up on said tests which doesn't mean it's not there, but doesn't mean it is. Confusing or what???

Obviously something is going on which has required my mum to have quite a few blood transfusions in the last couple of months and for there to be issues with her red blood cells etc. But the doctor isn't sure if it's related to her cancer or some other health issues she has. Specialist is going to also talk to mum's haematologist to see what he thinks/recommends to do next. So, it's all up in the air at the moment and none of us any the wiser. Very frustrating!!!

On a happier note, got the 3D/4D scan booked in for tomorrow (will be 16wks) and am looking forward to seeing the Belly Bean again. Been feeling a bit anxious about her over the last few days. I have no real reason to (suffering from an anxiety disorder isn't helpful either), it's just hard in these early stages when you can't see them (via baby bump) or feel them moving yet. The only way I feel reassured is to see her on ultrasound, that way I know for sure she is ok.

The only new preggo symptom I've been experiencing (which I have for the last 2 weeks approx.) is on and off tightening in lower abdomen just above panty line where it goes hard as a rock from anywhere from a few seconds to maybe 30 seconds or so, then it releases and goes all soft again. It appears I've been feeling Braxton Hicks which normally women (especially in their first pregnancies) don't feel until much later on, but is possible to experience in the second trimester and feel them earlier if you're a smaller build like me. They come and go, sometimes I'll have a run of feeling them for a few days in row (I actually experience them more at night time), then sometimes I'll get nothing for days on end or just one here and there on random days. Hope you don't mind me sharing girls, it's just all so new to me never having been preggo before, I didn't know what was going on until I started researching it all.

Other than that, all good my lovelies. Ok, must go for now. Have a great day everyone. Until next time...................

Hang in there precious 1 more day keeping my fx for u xo
Don't get me wrong bib I can only imagine how frustrating and hard that would have been for her trying for 9 yrs for her 2nd, but here I am just trying to get 1, she dosent know how it feels to be childless. I think the part I'm peeved about is the fact she was just trying to get dirt out of me when I hardly talk to her.

Hope all goes well for your 3d/4d scan tomorrow and the apt thurs bib, must be very confusing for u all, how is your mum?

Sorry to hear u have been feeling anxious, I'm sure once u see belly bean u will feel a little better. All of this stuff going on with your mum must be hard.

Emski gl with everything, not long now and hi to MrsP and Dom hope u r well

Dh home tonite then we have apt with FS in the morning to discuss our next go
    Have a good week ladies
