No doubt it's a positive. Especially if it came up straight away. It doesn't have to be same thickness

Hi all :-) Ok, so went to docs this morning, and had blood test done, originally they said results will be in Friday, so I made a remark something like boy this is going to be a restless week - so the nurse tagged my test as urgent shoud have results tomorrow! yikes.

I thought doc would do another urine test to be sure first, but no, she took my word for it... so I did one anyway at home - I just wasnt convinced I guess:

So.... Theres still two lines, huh? Still very very faint... will know 100% tomorrow.

Im feeling very speechless about this - I am actually on the pill currently and weren't planning on TTC quite yet.... So this is quite a shock. I am 30, in a stable relationship and own my own home, so will be ok, though I have no idea how OH is going to react... Im thinking of waiting till bloods are back to be sure, but not sure I can hold myself together long enough! eek.

    Congrats, definitely 2 lines

I wouldn't be able to keep that a secret for a week! I found it hard enough not saying anything until DF got home!

    Thankyou all :-)

I have no idea how OH is going to take it... when we first bought our house 18 months ago he's the one that brought up the subject, saying he was dead keen but wanted us to settle into new arrangement first.... but a heck of a lot has happened in that time, things have gotten challenging, finances have been compromised etc :-/ so yeah no idea! Time will tell - I will try to wait for bloods... but depending on how or if I can hold myself together tonight!

oh and from what I can gather, I am around about the 4 n a bit week mark, and wouldn't be able to expect a strong line from a test at this stage apparently.... will know when I get the HcG count I guess, they can tell how far you are from that?
