    Default If it becomes legal

For same sex couples - if it becomes legal will you get married? Would you have a ceremony or just go to the register? Just asking out of curiosity to see what other couples would do :-)

No we wouldn't. Marriage isn't a priority for us at the moment.

If our kids asked us to get married because it was important to them we would though.

    I'm curious

    I think it's terrible gay love isn't "recognised". It's such ****.

My brother is gay & I would wet my pants if he & his partner chose to marry.

Love is love. People should be able to celebrate it!

We would marry. Probably within a year of the change in law. We already have the same name, live like a married couple and are about to have our first child. We would love to marry as well.

We already discussed this and we would just go to the registry. We did the 'registration of relationship' through BDM last year and had our ceremony in January this year. We don't want another ceremony. I've also changed my name :-)

    Yes I meant 'when'

My partner and I have been waiting for over 10 years now. When our civil union certificate became a 'registration' I lost just a bit of faith in the qld state gov! Oh well, would be lovely to have our kids involved a ceremony as well.

Definitely would get married. Would love to wear a beautiful dress (not that I need to get married to do that, its just different to wearing a beautiful dress for other occasions) and have the people I love in my life there to celebrate the love of my life with me.
