I don't drink any. Once I stop breastfeeding I may have a glass of wine once every couple of months but that's about it.

DH used to be a big drinker, it was rare that he would go a day without any (he wouldn't get drunk every night, but he would have a few). He went completely cold turkey in August or September last year out if the blue and hasn't touched a drop since (well, he had one drink on Xmas day)!! It has made such a difference to our lives and I'm do glad e did it

Maybe it's worth talking to someone OP?? It doesn't sound like you're out of control or anything, but it's obviously weighing on your mind so it may help to discuss it with someone?? Good luck!

I very rarely drink, only really at celebrations/special occasions. DP probably drinks a slab throughout the week though which I don't think is much. My parents are heavy/binge drinkers which has turned me pretty off alcohol.

Heaps of my friends are weekend drinkers though, I guess if you feel like a need a drink then it might be becoming a problem. Try have a weekend off and see how you feel.

People on here are way more anti-alcohol than anyone I know irl. I think that's because a lot of people have suffered in various ways because of it. I sympathise and understand why they wouldn't want alcohol in their lives. But for most people who drink in moderation? No big deal. Like most things.
We're the same. Wine is a big part of our lives and I do see it as very different to drinking to get smashed all the time.

I've drunk the past 2 weekends. Last Friday I drank too much and had a hang over, last night I had 3 glasses and I'm good today. It really depends on who I'm with and what I'm doing. I love having a drink with people and socialising and it's a big part of our social circle too.

If you feel like it's a problem then have a weekend without and see how you go. I have often gone for a few weeks without drinking.

    Weekly - nothing
    Monthly - nothing

Yearly - ill probably go through 3 bottles of champagne and maybe a bottle of midori. Usually my birthday , hubby's birthday, New Years and one or two big occasions through the year.

    I am a water addict

I agree with PPs, it's a problem if you think you can't stop or give it up.

We rarely drink nowadays. DH has maybe 2-3 some weeks and then will go for over a month without anything. I will occasionally have one, like every 3-4 weeks. If we are out, I might have 2.

Most weekends I'll have one or two drinks, but not every weekend and could certainly take it or leave it. My favourite drink is Rekordelig cider, if I have some I'll have one small bottle at a time.
