Had a really down moment this morning... we have been ttc 11 mths now and I've recently been diagnosed with pcos. As I sat at work this morning (childcare centre) I watched lots of pregnant mums come through, lots of siblings close in age and it just made me so sad. I always wanted my children close in age and aimed for a maximum 3 years gap but the longer ttc takes the bigger the gap will be. I know I should be happy to have my beautiful dd but I always saw myself with a big family. Somedays it's really hard to be positive when you just want to cry

14dpo. I recommend fr rather than frer if you are going to test early. Actually even the clearblue i did is much better than the frer. Don't test before 12dpo. I had a super faint possibly an evap line at 12dpo and an obvious line today (the frer looked like an evap line today though but my other tests are very dark.

Good luck! Fx i see you in the Jan dig.

I've had 2 false positives on 2 different tests in 2 months last cycle was a very clear blue line on a crystal clear, the month before a faint but clear pink line on a FRER. I know they wren't chemicals as I rushed out and bought another brand and got stark white BFN's within hours of these fake positives.

So tabby you mean the FR dipsticks are better than the FRER? I don't trust any of them anymore

Yep, fr dips seem much better than frer. got a faint line on fr on sunday, an obvious line on fr today but only a really faint line on a frer today. this evening I got a very clear positive on a clearblue...i thought that was strange as i thought the blue dye tests were less sensitive?

eta: the second fr and the frer were done with the same pee. top fr is sundays, clearblue is this evening.

Hmmm interesting tabby, and yes the stick is much clearer. I also thought the blue dye ones were less sensitive than the pink, thus why I go for the pink ones. I only bought the crystal clear out of desperation as in town there aren't many brands to choose from.

And on a tangent, I'm so annoyed as both by hcg and OPK's tests from ebay have been stolen out of my mailbox different sellers too, never had an issue with either of them. Now another lot of OPKs won't get here in time for my first ovulation cycle with clomid

That sucks Delirium! You could try contacting the post office...they probably won't do anything but the postie might be able to put it somewhere less noticable (our postie did that recently...left a 'do not fold' letter at the front door as he couldn't fit it in the post box without folding it).
