Sounds like a good plan Kazza. I would throw in cd 19 for good measure but that's just me.

I can completely relate yo what your all going through. I have a 2.4yr old boy. I have severe pcos, insulin resistance and high testosterone levels. Fertility clinics at hospitals won't help me due to my weight. I definitely understand and know weight loss will help overall help but it will take me years which I don't have. I'm 35 in December. I was ttc for 3.5yrs. I did just end up trying to forget about it and getting on with life because I didn't know how else to cope with it. I suppressed deeply all my emotions and made plans for holidays. I hadn't had a period for a whole year!!! I go away in December overseas in 2009 and in jan 2010 I had one period. Then march I found out I was pregnant. Got usual period symptoms that lasted 5wks which prompted me to test. I was 7wks preg. Now my periods are more regular and all over the place and I don't know if or when I ovulate. If I got preg now it would he a 3.2 yr age gap. Trying to take the 'I don't care approach' but it's not working this time because I do care as the age gap is becoming bigger and bigger. I too feel like a failure that my body doesn't work properly. I can't read it and everything I read online that happens to women that is supposed to result in pregnancy doesn't happen to me at all! !! My body is completely screwed.
*hugs* I can relate to feeling like your body is screwed... I have not had an af since December. I hate, hate, hate feeling like my body does not work.

The doctor does not think I've ovulated since December either. I try not to get down about it but I cannot help bit think that it should just happen. It just seems to work for everyone else

Despite taking metformin for a month I've had nothing except feeling sick ALL THE TIME.

Sometimes it does take a while for metformin to kick in. A fs I saw a few times did say that it worked for a lot of his patients. I think it helped me because weight loss certainly didn't help me cause I hadn't lost anything lol.

Have you done tests on your hormone levels lately? That should tell you a bit what's going on. Also get all your other levels checked out. Because if your deficient in things like vitamin d or magnesium it can affect fertility big time.

I had a round of tests about a month ago, aside from minor things nothing was too out of the ordinary.

I thought I was on the slow release metformin but I will check with my dr. Fingers crossed its just a phase and I start feeling better soon

hey there, felt not so alone in reading ur post. My SIL is preggos again. This will be no. 3 a little girl, i have been ttc for 2 years. Just seems my SIL sneezes and seems to fall preggo. I love her to bits but its just so hard - i cant even have one & she is on her way to baby no. 3 ... I think trying to be positive is the best medicine however, just believing that it will happen!!!

I'll throw my vent in for good measure!

TTC since mc in sept, no luck at all DP is the "it'll happen eventually type" which bugs me.

And to top it off now, and I feel awful for saying this... DP dad has a terminal illness and is understandably causing DP a lot of stress along with work and this unfortunately is affecting DP's mojo!

So I ovulated yesterday and the chance of getting pregnant is slim to none cause I haven't had sex since the damn 26th!!

    Grr!!

My sil told me she would've continued on to have bub #5 if they hadn't removed her one severely damaged tube and clamped the other severely damaged tube!! She conceived with 1 barely functioning tube and poorly controlled type 2 diabetes.

Makes me feel like a failure. Makes me wonder why and think surely pcos isn't the only thing wrong!!!

Hope to see BFPs for you ladies god knows you deserve it and are trying hard enough

I sometimes get funny movements in my belly that exactly mimic baby movements. I just blurted out to my husband before that I wanted another baby...and he didn't say anything. So I said at least say some words of encouragement...and he said he didn't want to get his hopes up
