    Default Gut feelings: early labour

Has anyone had a "gut feeling" that they would go into labour early, and actually did? Or didn't?

Not really, but I am experiencing the same thing... My first was born at 35 weeks and with a bit over an hour's active labour, it caught me completely off guard - I didn't even really register I was in labour til I was in transition in the car on the way to the hosp.

This time I can't shake the feeling it will be early and quick... I keep having this recurring dream that Hubby delivers the baby at home. I am due around the same time as you too - 14 Aug. Why do you think you might be early??

Hoping both our bubs surprise us by coming on time

Yeah I had a gut feeling I would go into labour early and I ended up going into labour at 32 weeks.

And then I knew I would go into labour before I did at 37+6.

    Congrats on your August baby

My first was born 4days over his due date.
I'm not really sure why I have the feeling, I just have had a weird feeling all through this pregnancy (which I didn't have with my first) that I will have bub early. It's just a feeling, nothing backing it up at all. It's so strange

Yup... I had a gut feeling with DS that I'd go into labour early. I went into labour at 34 weeks. I have the same feeling this time around.

Yep, I did and everyone kept telling me I would too (family, people I work with etc). My mum had unexplained prem babies, and my ob said it can run in the family when there is no cause for it but that it can also mean nothing. I went into labour at 32 weeks and the awesome drs managed to keep DS in until 36 weeks

I had a gut feeling I'd go early, my mum and sister all had babies early, but after 38 weeks so not super early.

I went into labour on my due date, with DD born the next day. I usually get gut feelings, that are more often than not wrong! Hahaha

Best of luck with the rest of the pregnancy!
