I was miffed a few yrs ago when a woman rocked up ti a children's party covered in sweat and announced that the 'vomiting stopped over an hour ago' and proceeded to shove her hands in the chips the kids were eating.

You did her a favour. She sounds rather toxic, I'd take her ignoring you as a favour lol.

wow what a noob. sounds like no matter what you do, you will be in the wrong. You tried to sort it out - nothing more to be done.

she sounds like her own worst enemy. And her DH should be explaining why he even mentioned her hissy fit to your DH. Pot stirrer.

BTW I hope you are feeling better now. Sucks being sick, and sucks even more when you try to do the right thing and you get hammered for it.

I'm always grateful when people don't bring germs to my house. Good manners is doing what you did. Would she have preferred you came and infected the whole party?

I wouldn't make any further attempts to contact her or make up. You can't argue with crazy!
