Congratulations to all expecting & good luck everyone else!
You will love Dr Nikos, he loves his job and his clients come first, hes always available when you need him!!! Hope you are as lucky as the rest of us, but just remember, be positive and stay smiling !!!

This forum helped me decide where to go, and after speaking with Dr Nikos Kanakas, I knew he was perfect for me.

I called him today and he was so happy about my news and demanded I call him next week after my next scan. If he was just after money, he wouldnt care after I left his clinic, but he does care, and that to me, makes him an EXCELLENT Doctor. BLESS HIM. I think anyone that goes to him will be happy, he even said hi to my mother...hes such a nice guy. Good choice.

Hi ladies, just wondering what experiences you have had with implantation bleeding? How many days, how much bleeding, colour, etc. Not a nice topic but just wondering what to expect so I don't freak out when it happens to me. Any insights would be appreciated.

I never got any implantation bleeding, i did get a massive cramp, which I thought might have been baby burrowing in??? I hear its just a bit of spotting? I'm sure other girls here have had it. I wouldnt freak out if you bleed, after my scare 2 weeks in a row, bled a small amount both times at 6 &7 weeks, had no sign of any more internal bleeding at my scan yesterday. Doctors are magicians, they will sort it out so don't fret.

    Hi Ladies

Frances those lines are looking good! I can't wait to hear good news from you!!

Yasna your posts crack me up! You definitely have a good sense of humor about this whole experience. It's great. I'm really glad you're doing well ! Im sure the next scan will go beautifully.

Any news yet from Positano? I hope she's having a good cycle.

Cherry, don't fret about the possible issues. Just take one day at a time. We all need to stay positive and take things as they come. Your doctor will know what to do and will guide you through. Did you pick a clinic/ doctor yet (or is that Stacey that's still deciding?).

Dette, Vixj sounds like you're both doing well! Keep it up!!

Dr. K sent a Skype message to dh and it looks like they will talk on mon or ties when doc able since dh is off.

I am am expecting AF any day now. I made appt with gyn for later this month.

Dh has really come around. He's actually excited about doing this now ! I'm glad he's on board bc I didn't want to go down this road without his support.

I was was reading an article that said to start prenatal vitamins months before to prepare the womb. Did you guys do that? I also read a lot about DHEA and that those supplements help too. Anybody know anything about this?

okay folks it's almost 1am and I'm working tmro

    goodnight and stay well!!!

Yes jcs start taking prenatal a now and folic acid as well, don't worry about DHEA you cannot get that in Australia as it's classified as a steroid here and unless you have a script/ or a fertility specialist gives it to you, it's for women using their own eggs not donor eggs

Hi Cherry my FS said no such thing as implantation bleeding but the thing which occurs around that time and which is called implantation bleeding is actually 'break through bleeding' - a bleed that often occurs around the time your period might come. I got it last cycle about 8 days after transfer, thought it was too much for an 'implantation bleed' and was convinced it was all over. But it wasn't 😊. I continued to have bleeds up to 9 weeks but I think that was from the mega doses of progesterone I have to take irritating my cervix - if I was as brave as Yasna and did booty instead maybe the bleeds would have stopped.

Oh yeah - justcantstop - I was on prenatal vitamins for three years before conceiving! Your supposed to start beforehand so I did start before we started trying and then just had to keep taking them till a pregnancy stuck!
