Coming out of the cinemas, my cousin overheard someone say, "If I'd known they were both going to die, I wouldn't have seen it" - about Romeo & Juliet. OMG

When arguing with DP about getting seat covers for our new car with leather seats I argued that wet stuff spilt repeatedly on the seats can damage the leather. His reply? But what about cows? They are in the rain all the time and thier leather is fine! Could not believe he went there! Lol.

It's ok zombie... I watched the whole movie thinking "wow he got ugly with age" then found out he had a prosthetic nose and make up to look more like Bruce Willis.

When DD was about 8wks old I went to a friends place for the first time since she was born and said friend asked "have her eyes opened yet?" and I was like what do you mean? And she said aren't babies like cats and they're born with their eyes closed? Lmfao then you'd never guess it about half hour later friend's twin brother asks the same question!!!

Oh I have lots of beauties from when DD was born at 25 weeks. I guess not a lot of people are exposed to such a prem baby, but I think most people would still agree they're a little silly!

"So how's the breastfeeding going" [asked when she was a week old]
"So is she just intubated to give her a rest?"

I feel bad putting this one up so to make it okay rather than it being a 'stupid' thing I've heard i'm calling it a 'funny things I've heard when people have a brain block moment'

Him-so where does the umbilical cord go on the baby if it's a girl?
    Me-errrr....same place if it's a boy?
Him-(crazy wild stare at me then red faced) oh god, it doesn't attach to the w@lly does it?

He actually half knew and had believed BOTH things forever. Apparently that's where he thought the foreskin came from. Lol

    Overheard while shopping ...

Salesperson: Ok great! So we've decided on the laptop ... How are you for antivirus?

Lady: I'm ok. I will just download it off the Internet.

Salesperson: Ok. Do you need any other software?

Lady: If I do, I'll just get it off the Internet.

Salesperson: No worries. What about a carry case?

Lady: ummmm .... no, it should be ok. I'll download one if I need it.

I think someone may be having trouble grasping this whole new fang dangled downloading phenomenon.
