Me: I should get my bikini top (that I want to labour in) and keep it in the car just incase I go into labour.
DP: Go get it......what about shorts, what shorts do you want to wear?
Me: ........................... *waiting for the penny to drop*
DP: .....oh thats right, you're going to be pushing something out of down there, you probably dont want to be wearing shorts

This reminds me of my brother when he was little (give him credit, he was only 4 or 5 at the time). I had been fishing with my cousins and my aunty announced we were having fish for dinner - the fresh fish we had caught at the beach to which my brother replies "i don't want any, don't like fish from the sea"

My aunty asked him what type of fish he does like and he told her only the fish from the freezer at Coles

I still tease him about not eating fish from the sea.

Last year we were coming home from the dog park and talking about dog breeds and DH says "you know grey hounds aren't all grey"......as soon as he said he looked at me and laughed. To this day we laugh that there are brown hounds and grey hounds etc haha

    Conversation between me and FIL:

FIL: so when are you and DP getting married?
Me: Ahhh.. Why do you ask?
FIL: well you know that when you do you will have to adopt your daughters, because they have his last name and when you are married and take his surname too you'll be able to FINALLY have them legally be your children.
    Me: .....

    Seriously.

While visiting friends with DS2 when he was 4 months old,
Male friend "Is he walking yet?"
    Us "Ah no"
Make friend "Is he a bit slow?"
    Us "No!"
Male friend "Oh I thought he must have been because I haven't heard him speak yet"
Even his wife was looking at him strangely.
