Spicy food (laksa or stirfry with chilli), a brisk walk and DTD worked for us. Labour for DS1 and DS2 then started spontaneously at 38 weeks on the dot. Good luck x

I took a nice long drive with my partner on my due date. Contractions started just as I was beginning to think "gee we're getting quiet a long way from the hospital now if I needed to get there quickly" LOL.

    Thanks for the replies girls.

Ill have a go on the pinapple tonight. Don't think spicy food will work for me as we eat a lot of chilli already. And I assume it'd have the same effect as the laxatives.

Mildly contracting all day today but nothing too regular or painful.

    Come on baby!!!

I have another stretch and sweep tomorrow

Bluelips, I'm 38+1 also and am trying everything! However, clary sage oil really is helping bring on BH contractions when rubbed into my belly with a carrier oil so maybe try that?

I was told walking on an uneven surfaces helps, like walking up and down a gutter or stairs or rocky path etc .

I've been taking 3 walks a day! It certainly gives me contractions but they don't hang around too long.
munching on pineapple trying to be zen and accepting

Goodluck pippi and Rosengold it's such a frustrating time. Trying to enjoy the last few weeks and not focus on it but it's all consuming.

    So bored of sex
