    Yep, I do.

But to be fair I judge ALL smokers. I don't say anything unless someone blows smoke directly in my face, I do NOT take kindly to that.

I get annoyed if I have to walk through somebody's smoke haze in a clearly "no smoking" signed area. I hold my breath and make DD do the same.

Yep I have said it to a couple of people I know and I also have told a friend that her 'my baby is healthy' attitude is simply based on what she wants to believe.
Her son was born prem, small and has many health problems related to his breathing.
All be it I only know of two people who continued smoking whilst pregnant and when I see it out and about I am disgusted and judge harshly in my head. I would never go up to someone i dont know or barely know and say something though.

I am a smoker, have been for 15 years!!!!
I quit smoking the month before TTC and do not smoke all through pregnancy and then I do not smoke again until at least 9 months old or no longer breast feeding.
There are more important things in life than my ridiculous disgusting habit , my child's health comes first and foremost .
And I am a smoker , full time. Have not smoked for 5 weeks as we have just TTC as of last week so I believe I can judge as much as I want.
I do not understand at all what runs through an expecting mothers head when they hear the words you are pregnant! Quit then and there !! there are no effects on the fetus as it hasn't started feeding off your system yet!!!! Grr go ahead shoot me down I can't stand it
Genuine (and non-judgmental) question - if you can quit and do quit each time why do you take it up again? That's something I cant wrap my head around.

Cause I am silly and it is all in my head and my whole family smokes which makes it hard.
    I don't get it either

Being honest yes. But I've never been addicted to anything so I can't say how hard it is to quit.

I would never say anything though. I also don't think it looks nice seeing mums with newborns smoke too. But that's another whole thread.

    Yes I do.

I judge pregnant women who smoke, new mum's who push their newborn out and stand right outside the door of the hospital and smoke..

Pretty much anyone who smokes in the vicinity of children.

I don't say anything to them but I make my dislike of it clear by looking at them and moving away. I will even go as far as to tell DS1 to cover his nose so he doesn't breathe it in.

It's not just pregnant women either. I don't like anyone smoking. In this case it is affecting someone else that can't move away and that is what I dislike the most.

See I would have thought that would make a person less judgmental, not more.

Speaking of another thread, I wonder if people would be happy with a "what do you see parents do that you judge?" thread. People are happy to jump on the judging smokers while pregnant bandwagon, but I bet some of those same people do things with their children that I judge - as I mentioned in my previous post here I was openly judged by a woman while I smoked while pregnant who put her child at risk by watching and glaring at me rather than stop her toddler running into a busy carpark.

I would never say anything but yes I do judge...and I'm a smoker! I know everyone is different but I managed to quit the whole time I was pregnant and breastfeeding. Unfortunately I'm weak and have slid back into smoking now but I don't care what anyone says cos I'm proud of myself for quitting when I was pregnant and I'll get back there again...hopefully.
