Naww. My brother and his wife are the same, they hate it.

I on the other hand really enjoy it. It's not supposed to be real life, it's a musical tv series... nobody goes to a musical and says "that was so unrealistic, as if you'd just break into song and choreography in the middle of nowhere"... it's a musical, that's what they do!

I like it. I think most of the cast have amazing voices and they do a great job with the songs. Some of the story lines are extremely lame at times (aimed at kids so who cares) but other times they're quite special I think.

This show is my guilty pleasure, I don't know why, but I love it.

I also really like what they've done with their story lines regarding gay teenagers, transgenders, disabled, learning disabilities etc. As cheesy as the show is, there normally is a really decent underlying message which I think is important for a show aimed at teens.

I'm pretty sure they do all the pre-recording themselves. Most of them had singing careers before Glee. Which makes it more cringe worthy when some of them sing :P haha

The singing is pre-recorded in a studio. There was a glee stage show where they sang live that travelled around the US. It showed at the cinemas for a bit.

I watched it a few times to study it and see what the fuss was about... But I think I'm too old for it either way.

I was confused! They're trying to be all politically correct etc. yet the characters are elitist, bit.chy, a-holes who talk to each other like dirt and sulk when they are *misunderstood*. Also they speak too fast and are basically unfriendly and don't smile.

Apart from that I think the choreography is excellent as is the talent although they do over-act it a bit.

I wanted to stab someone when The Safety Dance ad was on.

Horrible song already... made even more irritating by Glee-ing it up.

Isn't it aimed at tweens? I don't watch it, and I wouldn't like it at all if I did, but it seems to be directed at kids and tweens, so doesn't bother me, just never watch it.

It wouldn't have been my thing when I was a kid either, I don't like musicals, dancing shows or anything like that.
