Oh good, I'm glad I have a similar story to someone else. Everyone seems so friendly and helpful. I am just so glad I found this before taking the possibly daunting road of TTC

Thanks SO much for the warm welcome wobblermummy...it sure is making me excited for the end of the year with all this baby talk! It is sometimes hard not to just want to start TTC now, especially after being around my little nephews...but I just have to keep telling myself, 'good things come to those who wait' (well at least I hope)!

Hi girls mind if I join? I have already officially started TTC however PCOS and lack of AF are making me wait. I am currently CD107. I finished taking a week of provera on Saturday and have been taking vitex for a few weeks. Wish my ovaries would cooperate cause I'm so ready for my BFP!

Hey welcome smac and becca, balletbaby.

I read something in another thread this morning and the poster had said they just decided not to make excuses anymore and just go and start ttc.

I talked to DH this morning and he seems to think we will do all the things we want to do at some point and it doesn't matter if baby comes first, he said if anything that will help us focus really hard on the things that are important in life. So I said well today is my last pill, should I go down to the chemist and pick up another 3 months worth?

And he said, "nah just go off it and we'll use condoms, you know me I don't care about using condoms I just want ....(dtd) "

    Ha.

So today is my last pill...! We're going to wait to see if my cycle regulates, see if I'm o'ing using temps or something...maybe, wait til DH is permanent in his job in August and then...bang. Lol. Goodbye condoms.

Thanks vue! That is very exciting for you! There is nothing more important in life than family. It is just amazing It is great getting to know your body off the pill. Yep fertility awareness based methods are fantastic.

I so know what you mean. I have been given the go ahead by specialist to have another baby because I had a stroke after the last baby. There is a risk it will happen again but from her experience and the research we feel confident that even if I have another one I should recover even with deficits. I still need to ponder over that a bit more but it has lifted a great weight from my shoulders. Can't wait to ttc again. Just not yet

Best of luck to all of you ttc ✨

I girls can I join the group? I am a mum of 2 DS is 2 and DD is 8 months. We probably won't be starting until the end of the year.

My DD has reflux and also with my mental health issues (depression, anxiety, PTSD) it has been a tuff couple of months.

I am wanting to get DD sorted out and get a good plan in place for myself, before I go back on the TTC journey as that will stress me out especially as I have PCOS.

I look forward to getting to know you all and wish you all lots of baby dust.

    Hi ladies

Big welcome to all the new guys Tiffanyandco, smac88, beccaboobang and Kimnus sending lots of baby dust your way for when your TTC journey starts

Vue that is so exciting to be stopping the pill! August will be here in no time! it's an uneventful TTC journey for you

Wobblermummy, hope things are going well with you and DH is being a bit more enthusiastic about TTC!

Can't wait till we get our first BFP from this thread!!

It's almost time for me to leave here and graduate to the actual TTC! So exciting. Just waiting for AF to show. My cycles can be a bit frustrating off the pill, as I always get a few days of (sorry TMI) brown tinged CM before AF actually comes. But she should be rearing her head in the next day or 2 then it's on!!
I will still pop my head in here cause you are such a great group of ladies and have been such a support these last few months and I'm excited to follow everyones TTC journey

I finally had AF show up and I'm currently CD3. Pretty excited as it is my second cycle of the year. I think I will hang out here a little longer and see what this cycle will do. Baby dust to all!
