BB4ME..Hope the nausea soon settles. Yuk! Great news that your donor has produced a +ve result. Did that also happen with her first 2 donations?

BB4ME...That is awesome. I asked Cyndi at EDSA about my donors results and she said all donations resulted in pregs but said they seldom find out if they are twins or singles so she couldnt give me any more info than that. She also reinforced the fact I have to remember sperm also affects embryo quality and too often that is not focused on. Must say I agree as I always think about egg quality which is probably not a balanced thought!!!!! That's probably because with us it is all about eggs, or lack there of!!!

    Pixel... Hows things?

    Makeba...How are you?

    Everyone else....hi there!!

Hello to all fellow bub hubbers X Reading through recent comments from you lovely ladies, it does truly show how hard this journey is and how resilient and tough we are. I am one of the ladies who have had the horrible experience of a BFN after the huge effort of travelling to SA for a much anticipated BFP. However it seems that we manage to push on, or change our path, but still remain optimistic. I really want to say how much I personally appreciate having you guys here to sound off against, ask for info and then having your support when it is needed the most. Helenmac I said some little prayers for you last night and hope that you BT will bring you some good news...I admire your strength & decision to move on with your lives should you need to. I am in the same boat as you...this next cycle is our last cycle. We will use up all embies, but when they are gone and if there is still no BFP for me...that will be it for us. I am getting to feel I can't give much more...the end may be nigh for me as well. Laned- so thrilled that you have your precious little man. I bet he is simply gorgeous! Well Done and thinking of you as you enter the early weeks of having a bub Makeba- I sympathise with your horrible BFN... big hugs and know we all are behind you 110% and are sending you every best wish X AFM- Our donor will have her screening tomorrow at CFC, so hopefully we should be starting meds etc soon...time is going so SLOWLY...as it does when we are waiting for the next step. Then you look back at the years that you have been on this journey & can't think where the time went. Anyway, the weather in Perth is absolutely glorious today. DH & I went for a massive (for me) bike ride this morning...last ditch at getting a bit fit...life is pretty marvellous...though we all know that a little person or 2 would add a very special dimension into our hearts. Best wishes & warm regards to everyone. Jenni

    Good evening everyone,

    Jennilea67 - beautifully said xxx

BB4ME & DJHEARS - Wow looks like you at least can rule out egg quality as an issue with your proven donors. Great news for you both

Helenmac - in all of our thoughts

AFM - donor in the midst of testing. AFC and initial bloods good. Still waiting on AMH result

As DJ mentioned earlier there are other issues at play in addition to egg quality. I know I am worried about my part of the deal and hubby is madly consuming Menevit and trying to keep off his beloved bicycles.

We haven't quite nutted down when to give up but definitely before I am 50

    Hello to everyone else

I am finding it very hard to keep up with everyone's journey!

Aussie123 & Grindasol - Have you been to SA yet?

    Hi everyone,

Thanks for all your support and comments. It really does help to read through them and know that you guys totally understand the emotions. So big thank you and big pat on the back to everyone of us I say! Jennilee you have summed up what I was thinking about the support we get from this forum.

Well after lots of tears this weekend we are going to go back to CPT, we are lucky that we do have embryos for us. I was thinking mid June, I would go back but now need to see what else can be done about implantation issues &/or fibroids. clearly something isn't working and they cant keep blaming my eggs as we had perfect donor eggs.

For the Melbourne girls - has anyone seen or heard of a FS that specialises in Fibroids.. my FS doesn't think my fibroids are issue but Dr H flagged this as a concern. I called another clinic today and they aren't taking new patients until mid July! It really shows the demand for fertility treatments.

Helenmac - how are you? Big hug to you.
Pixel - checking in on you, hope you are okay.
DS - thanks for checking in - really appreciate it.

Everyone else take care. Have a good week.

    Makey xx

    Hi Ladies,

It's a confirmed BFN. I received my blood test results today.

I have peace that I tried EVERYTHING possible to have a 2nd child and can do no more. Time for us to move on with the rest of our lives!!!

All the very best to you all.

    Helen x

Helenmac, makeba and Jennilee I am so sorry to hear of your results. You all show such amazing strength and your continued contributions to this thread demonstrate the support we all receive from each other on this emotional roller coaster. Time is an amazing healer. I'm sorry you did not get the result and I wish it were 100% success rate. Each if you will make the right decision and life will go on. My FS today mentioned success rates for one donor egg embryo transfer were only 50% and I was disappointed as we do so much to get the result we want. but we cant control science. Most people would think 50% was pretty good odds but our journey has taught us to expect the worst. My thoughts are with you all. Allow yourself time to grieve. Huge hugs
