    BB4me - everything crossed for your BFP It's a long time for you to wait, let's pray it is the wonderful result we all are hoping for. Thinking of you

    Libelle - oh darling...I am very sad for you. I had levels like yours with our second FET in Oz. I know the old 'cheer you up' sayings are cheesey, but they seem to say what we all mean. Take each day as it comes, let yourself rest & go through your emotions, give yourself to come through this. It's very hard for you now. Through my failed attempts I have thought- why hasn't it worked for me? It doesn't seem fair...your silver lined cloud is still coming, I'm sure of it, you just won't know when. Know that all your friends here are thinking of you.

    DJShears (Donna) thanks for your lovely words xx I'm pretty relaxed about it all over here in CT Today was sunny & we went up Table Mountain. It was stunning! We have left Camps Bay so we can be a bit closer to CFC as we have to drop in DH's specimen On Monday. It took us about 30 mins to drive from Camps Bay to the clinic. I would hate to get stuck in traffic out there if you had a clinic appointment. How are your plans coming along? What has happened with DH?

    Araline- Go Mickie & Minnie!! Praying for a good result on Sat/Monday I know what you mean about wanting to buy baby things... I'm chomping at the bit, but DH keeps me in line...counting my chickens before they hatch scenario good Luck to you x

    Laned - I was very moved by your lovely comments - thank you xxx I think everyone here is awesome, whatever part of this journey we are on. Go team Bub Hubbers I have followed your story and think you are amazing the way you have handled things. It is wonderful to know that our heartache, head aches & longing hopes fade away when the much awaited BFP comes along. Dreams do come true & you are one of the lovely ladies that keeps the ivf donor hope alive. It keeps us continuing on with our IVF journey. Thank you for your feedback & support of those still struggling to get our bubbles

    Abundance 1- we walked past Azamere yesterday, Thursday. It is such a lovely area & just down the road from Camps Bay. Hope your transfer went well. Baby dust for a positive result. When do you leave CT?

    Missleo - we miss you guys! We have had a few chats about our time here with you. Just having a glass of Merlot - so cheers to you and the little Macs X I will email re: ER on Monday x Hi to DP

    Crystal4431- you are probably flying ATM. It would be lovely to meet up with you & DH. PM me if you get this ... You guys could join January & us for dinner/ lunch somewhere? Good luck with settling in to CT x

    January - Hi. I have PMd you. You must be super crazy by now... I was! Running around the house getting everything organized. You will be here soon, to relax x see you in the next couple of days

    Pixel - Hi. How are your plans? How has your donor gone with the tests? Thinking of you x

    AFM - our donor got her trigger injection! We hope! So the ER is on Monday morning. Yey! I'm trying not to over think things, just staying chilled. I had Intralipid transfusion yesterday. Not a drama at all! Dr Le Roux is gorgeous. He was apologizing as he was putting the Drip line in. I sat ia very comfy armchair with legs up, had a cup of tea & a muffin & read mags! DH was a bit uncomfy though. Our donors eggs were at 15mm before trigger shot, so hopefully they will ripen up. So glad we are with Dr Le Roux, he is such a nice man who is genuine and very caring.
    Hugs to all and sorry if I missed you, but sending Saffaland Magic to all X

    January...Wishing we were all there together!!! Hope it all goes beautifully for you. keep us updated. How fantastic!

    AFM... Well, not such a brilliant outcome but one that DH and I are very comfortable with. After considering the serious risk of him not flying (even with the happy pills), his dad just being diagnosed with cancer of the lung (again), throat, stomach and near his spine and our absolute desire to give this our best chance we have made the decision to use Donor Sperm. He is content with donor eggs and my infertility and now it is my turn to support him.
    We just want to be mum and dad and whatever it takes to get to that is where our head and hearts are at. We have both signed and returned our donor sperm consent form and as such I am travelling with 9 year old DD! Girly bonding time!

    Luv to you all, Donna x

    Hi ladies,

    I have just been through this thread Jan 2013 - June 2013 to try and come up with some stats:

    BFP = 5 (3 sets of twins)

    BFN = 5 (4 fresh transfers & 1 frozen)

    UNKNOWN RESULTS = at least 4

    Too many unknowns to work out a percentage but will give you an idea of success rates. In any case it's a much better success rate than we would achieve without the gift of donor eggs

    Hope you are all well. Just heading out for a date with DH before we head to CT tomorrow night

    Hi Ladies

    Libelle I am very sorry

    Araline & BB4ME best of luck for your results

    Good luck to all of you currently in SA or on your way, hope you have a great trip, enjoy every minute and come home with a fantastic result, I can't believe that I will be jumping on a plane myself in two weeks. I'm still waiting for the import permit apparently it has sat on someone's desk doing nothing for a couple of weeks but should come through on Monday

    Best wishes and Take Care xx

    Hi Anait... what are your flight dates and what are your treatment dates? Sunny will be there too.... I would love to catch up. I have booked a few things to do over there with my daughter, like the cable car, Robben island, canal cruise, the aquarium etc but you are more than welcome to join us.

    I will PM you my contacts!
