Sorry becca I haven't, hope you're doing ok xxx

Congrats ever! I don't mind the gonal f injections, it's lucrin I don't like! I'm petrified of air bubbles when I pull it into the syringe! I've never been given the spray unfortunately.

Hi Chiefgirl, I went to see dr Alan Tang The other day, he sent me to do blood test and ultrasound again. I have to wait AF to come and book in Ultrasound. And then go back to see him again, not sure if I can get in Sep cycle now. Does everyone have to popping the pills b4 their cycle in westmead? I heard sometimes you can get in the cycle when you call them on day one, is that still happening now?

Little, I was hoping to start in june but due to theatre closure, we couldn't get in that cycle. I ended up going on the pill just to make sure I wouldn't have a crazy long cycle and started our injections in July.

From what I understand, not everyone has to go on the pill but I there are two cycle options and I believe one of them you take the pill, have nasal spray before starting injections. We didn't do that one so I'm not sure about exactly how it works (sorry!). Is Dr Tong still doing tests to see which type of cycle would be best for you? Or is he just monitoring to see if you might be ready to start when AF arrives?

Hi little, I do the long down cycle. I go in the pill on cd1 when I get AF. On that for about 3 weeks, then I do lucrin injections (other form is nasal spray) for one week then next week add gonal f (fsh) injections to the lucrin injections. About a week later I have my first scan. About two days later another then trigger then epu a cpl of days later. My first cycle was 48 days from first pill to et, the second cycle 42.

Hi Little, I think I am on the 'Long Down' cycle also. I had my FS appointment in June, and got AF mid July. when I rang to book in that Day 1, the nurse asked me to start pill popping. I then had my nurses appointment end of July where I picked up Synarel spray. I didn't have to have an initial ultrasound as I had a lap not long ago. Do you have a nurses appointment booked in?

Good luck as you start your exciting journey!

Hi ladies, I hope you are all doing well.

AFM - AF finally arrived on Sat night So I called the clinic yesterday and am all booked in! Start lucrin on 27 August, Gonal F on 4 September and first scan is booked in for 13 September

i'm back on the rollercoaster again. I have had the worst sinus headache for the last 3 days which hasn't helped either, i just want to curl up in bed, but I'm saving my sick days for epu's/transfers/fs appointments, so here I am at work

sending good vibes out to everyone xxx
