Chiefsgirl, I'm not sure about the Christmas closing. That's a good idea about making an appointment in the TWW though, I think I'll do that (hoping we get that far this cycle!)

What tests have you had so far? We suspected I had endo and fs was originally going to do one round ivf before surgery but because of some blood results, plans were changed and I had lap surgery in April rather than starting ivf..

Welcome ever - hope you have a successful cycle and short journey on the WFC thread!!!

Hi mrs jag, hope Georgia is doing well - nice to see you continue to pop in and say hi

Chiefsgirl - definately ask you FS about th possibility of a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy (if you haven't had one as yet) otherwise maybe there is an implantation issue like me (I have elevated NK cells and see a reproductive immunologist) he did a biopsy as well in my as well as blood tests - if you are interested I can inbox you his details if you like

Hi All, thank you for the welcome!

Chiefs Girl, I did watch the game. Woah! I thought the Blues were going to take it. I agree it may be worth looking at the possibly of a laparoscopy. I had one earlier in the year, and they removed endo which the FS at the time said could be causing problems with getting pregnant.

    I hope everyone is well

Thanks ladies. I haven't had any tests except blood tests and a Pap smear. I had a lap and hystoscopy done 20 years ago cos they thought I had endo, but it was clear - funny that just realised that the next month after that is the only time I have gotten pregnant. Unfortunately it wasn't the right time for me and it didn't progress. Maybe there's something in that tho? Will def ask my FS.

Thanks Crofty, I have been reading the high NK cell thread ur on and was wondering how that works with WFC? Do you see that specialist in addition to the FS that's affiliated with WFC? How did they take that?

How's all our mum's to be doing? Please do share, it's what helps those of us that have been unsuccessful have hope that it will happen!

Hey chiefsgirl - I see the immunologist as well as fs - fs couldn't really say anything, I guess she wasn't too thrilled as your pretty much questioning their techniques as well - but after 6 failed stim cycles, and approx 12 embryos transferred without even a glimpse of a BFP i took things into my own hands. So my fs won't comment on any of my protocol/ medications etc - she did print out inconclusive evidence paper ( that I never read) on NK cells and treating immune issues with intraplids/ivig (but I didn't require this extreme) I'm. Treated with just prednisone, clexane injections and high dosage progesterone pessaries - and I'm 11 weeks today!!!!!

At the end of the day, your the one doing everything to try and fall pregnant and effectively stay pregnant!!! You will do anything to get that BFP and see anyone you need who will assist you in getting there - whether it be 1, 2 or 3 specialists!!!! Even the OB I saw last week had a chuckle about the FS's and their love or progesterone support (as OB mentioned not really required past 8 weeks - however I'm going off advise of the immunologist)

And no time has not flown by for us at all (it has gone at a snails pace ) can't wait til I hit the next milestone of 12 weeks and then our NT scan next Thursday - hope my fellow mummies to be are doing well as well xoxo Crofty

Thanks Crofty - I like to pop in to keep cheering you girls on. This time last year was the start of our successful cycle. I can't believe it's almost been a year!

My wee one is growing up super quickly. Got a reminder letter about our frozen embryos (only the 2 leftover) and hubby & I have been talking about when to consider doing a FET.

Hi everyone!!! Gosh I love this group - it's so weird that you girls are such a critical part of my support ****** whether I just read everyone's progress or give an update occasionally it has been such support over the last 18mths,yet, I wouldn't know you ladies if I tripped over you - bizarre really!
Well enough of my reflectiveness lol
Tomorrow 'should' show us double lines and our little day 1 frosties will begin the thawing process on Thursday (fingers crossed) and here we go again! Only comfort is knowing plan b is in the freezer for a repeat cycle IF required the following month.

Ps. Mrs Jag get those frosties out 😄😄

MrsJ, did they mention to you how long/soon you can or should wait between having bub and doing FET in attempt for bub #2? I'm curious as webs been told don't wait too long because of my endo but I'm wondering if they have a minimum time?

Jeannie, fingers crossed all goes to plan.

I'm in for my first scan today. It's funny getting used to how things are done there. This time last year when we were doing iui, I was having scans every second day to check my follicles. I'm liking that there's not so many but also feeling abit lost as I have no idea if my body is responding how it should be.
