    Hi littledragon and welcome!!
After many tests all coming back good from unsuccessful transfers dr smith (who I find fantastic!) & Cecilia (embryologist) felt that the only common issue I had amongst cycles was high progesterone. They like it to be under 5 at time of transfer and my was always nudging 5 - this means in their language that my body is slightly ahead of itself when it comes to transfer. By doing a freeze all I can have a natural cycle which can be monitored more closely. AF arrived on time today so hopefully a transfer for me in about 3 weeks! Finally!! They freeze 2 batches in 5 & 3 to give the first round the best chance and still have a back-up plan with the 3 if required (hopefully not!!!) :-) x

FX for you Jeannie. Hopefully you won't need the second batch.

Chiefsgirl, we're with Dr Bradbury too Although we haven't started treatment yet, I've had to call the hospital a few times and I get the feeling the nurses don't do their call backs until the afternoon..? Hope you enjoy your dinner.
    When do you test?

    Hi becca85

Yes, I think they see patients in the morn, then get the lab results back and call back people in the afternoons. I know in my last cycle I went in for my first scan in the morn, didn't have many follicles, and when they called in the afternoon they had my blood results and had spoken to Rachel, who suggested we up my gonal f dose. So I think that might be why they do all the calls in the arvo.

I'm supposed to poas next fri (they don't do blood hcg tests at westmead).

To answer ur question KJ - yep I'll probably start poas from tues!

Little dragon - all FS I've seen during EPU and transfers have been great, my FS is Dr Fong and I have no issues with her. Really depends on who your comfortable with and how urgently you want to get in to see someone as some are more popular than others (my initial referral was for Dr Melham, however her waiting period always very long - so I called around and chose Dr Fong) good luck with your decision.

Chiefs girl hope your holding up ok in TWW, glad you got your answer and enjoy your well deserved nig out, at least it will take your mind off TWW for a little while we'll all be lurking to see some good results with poas on tues/we'd next week!!,

Kj - I haven't even thought of buying anything yet!!,I'm just taking week by week. (And at times day by day!!!) very jealous that your going on a cruise!!, is this going to be your babymoon

Hi mrsmjag, hope Georgia is doing well and your enjoying your special time together

Rose white - any news of that gorgeous boys arrival yet???

Jemjems - congrats on your 20 weeks!!! Glad the boys are giving you reminders that their there your very organised with your prams, cots etc!!!! There won't be anything left form anything to buy you for your baby shower at the rate your going - lol

Jeannie - welcome back!!, are you doing a natural or stimulated FET??. Hoping that you only need the 1 batch to get some nice blasties for transfer

Hi to twocam, wickets, becca and lillystar, and anyone I've missed.

AFM - went for a mini GTT this morning as fs wanted me to as I'm on prednisone which apparently can increase blood glucose levels. Have an appt with my immunologist tomorrow to review my immune protocol - still on prednisone, clexane and and very high dose of progesterone pessaries (400mg x 3 x per day) I've managed my (constipation) thankfully, have been feeling quite nauseous (not sick so that's ok) feel verrrrry tired and exhausted - been going to bed at 8pm every night (usually i go to bed about 10 10.30) still have spotting which comes and goes and have my 1st OB appt on Tuesday next week (ill be 10 weeks!!,) so full ****** ahead here in Crofty land.

Hi Crofty Can I ask why do you have to be on immunologist protocol? Who is the immunologist you see? I just realise I have high ANA, which I found couple of years ago. No symptoms at all, but it may have bad effect on the early preg (dr google). Hope you can give me some info. Thanks very much
