    Default 35 weeks pregnant - vaginal discharge and mucous plug questions

    Hi, i am currently 35 weeks pregnant and for the past 2 days i have noticed that my vaginal discharge has been dry, is this something to worry about?

    i don't see my OB till next week and i don't want to call the hospital in case it is nothing but i am just finding this really odd as it has either been clear watery or egg white while i have been pregnant and a lot of sites i have goggled say that it should be increasing but i am dry.

    Also can being dry mean that i may of already lost my mucous plug?, and can you loose your mucous plug over time or does it happen in one big lot?

    Sorry if this is in the wrong place, i wasn't sure if this should go here or in health issues.

    Dunno about 'going dry', but u can def lose ur mucous plug bit by bit; I only noticed 2x trips to the loo of yellowish discharge about 1 wk before bub arrived (in saying that, she was induced at 41 +1), then nothing. As gross as it sounds - I was hoping for one big bit, that way I knew things were moving along!

    Unless it is green or smelly, it's probably fine. I think you would be safe to wait until you see your OB next week and ask about it then if you're still worried.
