Default how do u do a quick clean of your house?

i found myself using baby wipes to wipe down the bathroom and toilet just before i jumped in the shower. then i scrubbed the shower while i was having a shower myself.. then i sprayed glen 20 everywhere. housework done.
what do u do to cut corners on housework when u just dont have time to keep up with it all...

Hi! Yes it can be hard to keep up at times. I've also used nappy wipes wo wipe down sink and toilet lol. But I usually use bathroom wipes. My sis gave me a good idea that may work (didn't really work for me lol).
Every hr take 10mins to do something. Eg spend 10mins folding (8 mins folding 2 mins putting away) or 10 mins in the bathroom etc. so you don't try to hit it all at once. 10mins every hr for 6hrs equals 1hr of cleaning!!! Not sure if it will work for you, but just a suggestion

Dump everything 'out of place' into a tub. It makes the job not look as big. So you realise it might only take you 15 minutes to do the house instead of all day.

Hide the tub in the spare room when you finish

I (try) to give the kitchen a quick clean every night. I think the house feels cleaner when the kitchen is clean.

At work we use microfibre clothes and an all purpose spray to clean most surfaces so I've now taken on the idea and it's so much quicker than the way I was doing things. Making sure I do a once a week clean is keeping it down to about 30 mins max to do the toilet, bathroom, washing and floors.

I move everything onto the kitchen table and then hubby goes a bit mental with how cluttered it is and does a house clean. Lol

I do the 10 minute thing - works a treat! I use baby wipes to clean the bathroom sink and the bath. I use those floor wipe thingys to clean my floor every other day. And I just chuck stuff in drawers, surprisingly that makes the house a little bit more tidier!

I'm so far behind in housework it's not funny. I send DS out to his grandma for the day so I can do a cleaning blast of the apartment each week.

This site (you'll have to google UFYH because this hits the naughty filters!) has heaps of helpful advice. I love looking at the before and after photos. It makes me feel that there's hope for anyone!
