    Default Trying Aswell!! CONFUSED!!

    Hi Everyone

Myself and My partner also tried 3 times x IVF with her trying to carry my egg, no success all 3 times :-(

She has severe endimitriosis so we are now going to try our first round of IVF with me carrying my own egg...next month.... after 21K spent already, another 10K on the next one, its costly....and stressful.....

    So I am HEARING YA'LL!

Im glad there is somewhere we can share our frustrations!

    Default No Medicare rebate

You can not get the Medicare rebate if you cannot prove infertility.
Infertility is classed as a medical condition & therefore any individual that does not have such issues is up for full costs & up-front-payments in most cases.
Which is particularly hard for singles & same sex couples.

We decided to try the two IUIs that our FS suggested and then move to IVF after that if unsuccessful. We got pregnant on the first IUI.

I'm sure it depends on individual circumstance but our FS said that if we tried the two IUIs and weren't successful we could then be classed as medically infertile. I had been diagnosed/treated for endometriosis in the past so not sure if that factored in at all.
