I'm with Life Fertility in Brisbane with Glenn Sterling. For my first two cycles we were living in Perth, where I went to Fertility North. But I'm very glad the move forced me to change clinics, cause Life is wayyyy better. Fert. North have some practices I disagree with, mostly regarding early transfers (presumably so they get your money/keep their "% made it to transfer" stats up!). They make you have a Day 1 transfer if you only have one egg fertilise (like I did both times), they often pressure people with lower emby numbers into having Day 2 transfers, and they don't go any further than Day 3 in the lab. Whereas Life will ONLY do blasty transfers regardless of emby numbers, so they don't end up transferring a potentially useless emby that could arrest before it even gets to blasty. Also Fert North made you come in for all the monitoring BTs (CD 2, CD 8 ---> EPU, 7 DPO, 14 DPO), whereas at life I only have the hcg beta at the end of the cycle done at a pathology, and all I have before EPU is a scan or two. It makes the cycle a lot less stressful and time-consuming! Anyway, sorry for going on, I'll stop singing the praises of my clinic now.

    Didn't get our visas approved.
They have referred our case off to Canberra.

The girl could not understand WHY we hadnt brought surrogacy document paperwork in with us to the interview. I was so shocked! I said to her that there was NO surrogacy just IVF with egg donor.

She made me repeat myself 3 times and then took our forms off to her boss. Hubby and I sat there for 10 mins not knowing what was even happening.

She comes back and tells us whats goign to happen....We will know by Wednesday if they need more info from our specialist in India or if they refuse us outright.

In th emeantime, we are in limbo and a little bit scared. I mean we really MUST have been the oly folks in the last few years asking for IVF instead of surrogacy, no wonder they were suspicious and shocked.

Ahh well life goes on. Cant wish the days away faster.. so I will just bake up a storm till we hear back from them. Cookies can cure almost anything

Oh my gosh Oddity Acres that must be so frustrating! I know a couple of ladies who had IVF in India - surely you can't be the only ones? I hope you just got the new girl and it will all be sorted ASAP! Thinking of you

Big hugs oddity. How sucky, but like the others said fingers crossed its just a hiccup and all will come back in your favour!

Feeling the post op haze big time. Hoping to get some good news from the doc tomorrow. Great news is that as soon as my period arrives in the next week we can start straight away into the next cycle! Yay!

    Hope all are well :-)

Mine this time will prob be CD19, but I think it depends more on how many days you've needed to jab and when you started...Previous cycles were timed with my DH's surgery rather than my cycle, so goodness knows what cycle day it was, I lost count. I'm jabbing for 12 days.

Hi ladies, I'd also like to join you if that's ok. Just had our appointment this week with FS who has said we can go ahead with our 2nd FET in June. Not looking forward to the injections again but just grateful the option of IVF is there for me and i've had success once. We have 4 frozen embryos so hoping there will be at least one healthy baby in there somewhere.

Good luck to you all and fingers crossed it's a bumper few months for pregnancies.

    to all xxx
