bedlover - glad you got some good news & good luck for your FET! Wishnhope - maybe we have seen each other at Fert North & if not probably will have soon! & Sariele - maybe I've seen you in the past too! I'm with Vince but have seen Margo a couple of times along the way as well.

    Rightio then folks..

My VERY 1ST time on the IVF merry go round... I am so nervous to be starting synarel tomorrow morning. I have small choc buttons to get over the taste.

I dont understand half your terminologies and stuff but I am trying.
You are all so lucky to be having your fertility treatments in Oz and getting explanations for all sorts of things. We are mainly doing this via email and wont see the specialist until we hit New Delhi in July.

Our GP here is trying hard to help me lay catch up.. but I think really all we can do is follow protocol as we have it explained to us and see what happens. Even for Emby transfer I am going to be under general anaesthetic cos I am such a wuss.

Meh.. will let you know how it goes. cant think straight right now. Dealign with this and a very pregnant with only 5 weeks till she is due, daughter in WA.

    Crazy times

    Thanks all for the welcomes...

We are a same sex couple who had 3 unsuccessful iui's last year, this year has seen one failed fresh stim, and one cancelled fet. We are oh so lucky to have three on ice, one of which has now been thawed and refrozen!

I should mention I have a 6, almost 7, yr old dd too, who is very eager for a sibling.

So Thursday I have a hysteroscopy, and d & c to try and sort my bits out so we don't experience that impossible embryo transfer issue again. Has anyone had this procedure for any reason? How long did you have to wait to fet after it?

Still waiting to hear from accounts too as to whether we lose out or it carries over? Anyone have experience with ivfa and cancellations on transfer day with a natural fet?

    Hi ladies,

I have been staying away from bubhub a bit. So sorry to hear some of the heartbreaking stories, bed lovers and ally, but so good also to see you looking at the positive ahead. Well done, you're champions.
I had a day 21 appt last week with a nice new nurse at the clinic, fs up my doses again to 450 menopur. We are trying to get as many eggs as possible as we have been batching for cgh. We have 5 embryos on ice from our march cycle and are hoping to get more. Last time we did cgh we got one normal out of 6 tested. Then I got an early bleeding due to hormone problems. So we are hoping to get as many eggs as possible, get at least 2 or 3 that are normal so that we can have a fresh transfer and get a chance of a a frozen transfer as well. We are putting a lot of hope into this one.
I have a new job which I am loving and working out heaps at the moment, quite happy with myself!
    Hope is on!! For now....

    Good luck to everyone.

    Hi Veritas,

Sorry to hear of your troubles in getting that emby back in. I got cancelled once while I the chair and had to have mine re frozen too. Not a very pleasant experience.

I also had a D&C and hyseterscopy on Monday 13 th May. Not too bad, just cramps afterwards and 1 week of light spotting.
I'm set for my FET as soon as AF flow comes, as it is supposed to aid in implantation. Only time will tell.

I'm with Monash at Clayton, for my cancelled transfer they bulk billed my next FET, I only paid a small fee of around $ 150.00 which was not covered by medicare.

This time I'm doing a HRT cycle, with some luteal phase support.

    Best of luck
