    Hi girls
Hoping i can join this thread, i know selm and safam from adelaide thread, live in melbourne but IVF in adelaide. just had our 2nd failed ivf cycle. Our embryos never make it past day 1 or 2. Apparently very rare - yay for us. Met with specialist today and he was very honest. he will throw everything he can at next cycle, will update signature when i get home, but if it doesnt work we wil only have 2 options left - egg donation or childless lives, very hard to hear that but also really appreciate the honesty. Next ivf cycle should begin mid-late june. No idea when af will come, as we never made it to transfer i was only on crinone for 2 days.
Goodluck to everyone, sending positive thoughts to everyone.

Loolu - Sorry to hear about your recent troubles! It is very emotional not having things go smoothly! And I can relate to the mixed feelings of being genuinly happy for friends being preg and your own disapointment! Hang in there.. xxx

Ngaiz - I would go for the job! At the end of the day your life goes on and you need to be selfish & do what is ultimately best for YOU (not the company)! It will be no skin off their nose if you dont take the job but you may have regrets! And WHEN you do get pregnant they will deal with it and fill your position until you are back!

Ally - I dont really know your story but am picking up bits.. My heart is with you! bleeding & bad days suck but I know there will be good days coming for you *hugs your way* xxx

Eskimo - Honesty is good! Good luck with the next cycle! I'm sure you will find your path to get the little soul that wants you...

AFM - I just found out that even tho I have PCOS and should have a higher AMH, my AMH is actually only 8 (FS says he expects 30-35).. So he has started me on DHEA for the next cycle which he says it would be better to wait another month so the drugs can be more effective! I was planning around stimming in 2 wks and had boked leave at work etc.. Now will need to wait 6wks and cant get time off then So am a bit bummed and confused about everything today.. Has anyone had experience with DHEA at all??

Hi all! This is very delayed but thank to those who wished me all the best for my wisdom teeth surgery Little sunflowers - thanks so much for the idea of a long icepack. I'll definitely be getting one of those! And Selm22 - I hope that it won't be long before you get to pass on your genetic lack of wisdom teeth! Sorry I can't seem to get any formatting so this will be in one big paragraph! Loolu - sorry to hear you had OHSS - it's a horrible experience to go through. Sometimes you get quantity & quality & I've seen ladies on other threads who have had OHSS & gone on to get bfp from a FET so will be keeping fingers crossed this happens for you. Afm I have a review appointment with my FS next Wednesday so trying to write down all the questions I have for him. Has anyone tried meditation whilst cycling? I listened to the ivf companion cd everyday last cycle - I got a bfn so not overly convinced that it was worth it!? But still I'm thinking of giving general meditation a go. Ivf stresses me out!

Thank you, but it's more stubbornness than strength! And obsessive behaviors!

    Hi everyone

I met some of you in the April/ May cycle buddies thread and am now jumping into this thread as we found out early in the week that we got a BFN . All the waiting and hoping and then feeling miserable when the call came through! My legs were literally shaking at the time. The nurse said we'd hear news late morning because they realise its such an anxious time but I had a hunch it wasn't good news when they rang sometime after 2pm. AF never came either, thanks to crinone. We have some frozen embies as back up but need to have a months break before having a FET (mid June?). How we were SO hoping for beginners luck but it wasn't to be..

Question: Has anyone taken traditional chinese medicine (TCM) either before starting IVF/ICSI or between cycles while on a break? Did it help? How soon before starting a cycle did you have to stop taking herbs? Thinking about whether I try TCM before doing a FET to increase my chances of success.

    to everyone
