    Lol. I've done it too.

Chucked a hat on then went to get some dark dye.

    lol ahh the memories!

I remember a few years ago I decided to go blond with a home kit. Looking back it actually turned out pretty good, all the one colour, not patchy, not brassy, really the only problem was it didn't come out quite how I wanted it, so I changed my mind and decided I wanted an auburn brunette instead, so I went back to the store and bought an auburn colour and put that through.

Conveniently forgetting that my hair was now yellow, not the brunette it had been earlier in the day. So of course when I removed the towel from my head this time it was a bright red. Like fire engine red. a few years ago I spent so much money trying to get this exact colour but could never get it right, and now I'd done it by accident!

Unfortunately I had a big job interview the next day and started freaking out So back to the store for a 3rd time and this time I just bought a straight black. In the end my hair turned out a gorgeous reddy black and I loved it. It just took me a long time to get there...

Back to the original dilemma, this probably only works when you put a colour through your hair and not a bleach, but apparently dandruff shampoo is the best thing to get a colour out that you don't like.
