    Default Fertility tablets

Hi, I am just wanting to know if anyone has been on fertility tablets before? If so how was your experience on them side effect? and how long was it till you found out you were pregnant? me and my husband are just going crazy every month thinking this could be the month and it never is!! My GYN wants to start me on them on our next appointment. I have PCOS he has been trying to balance my hormones first as my estrogen levels are really low.

(new to this sorry if I have posted in wrong area will relocate if I have)

    thanks

You are probably referring to Clomid. I did three cycles but unfortunately never worked for me and fell pregnant on our first IVF attempt

Good luck to you, fingers crossed you fall straight away xx

    Hi there!

Yes,most likely Clomid. It is the first treatment Docs will try. I concieved first DD after four cycles and second DD after three. Have finished my third cycle of Clomid post MMC in Oct last year and two D21 progesterone have come back neg for ovulation I think the next step for me is adding Metformin to the mix.

    Good luck!

    x

I had Clomid fell first cycle with number 1 and third cycle with number 2. My doctor was spot on with the timings as I went for scans everyday and then he would say "go for it" and then get the injection for the egg release. You need to have the little fellas waiting for the release

FS put me on clomid but I didn't ovulate (I too have PCOS). He then put me on letrozole 2.5mg first month and I ovulated, my progesterone levels went from 1.4 to 22 so he doubled my dose and levels increased to 52 on my second cycle and fell pregnant!!

I am now just over 7 weeks. Different fertility treatments work for different people. You just need to discuss with your FS

I did 3 cycles of clomid increasing the dosages each time and unfortunately it did not work for me. I fell pregnant on my first FSH cycle though.
