Surprisingly, I cope fairly well in stressful situations, to the point where other people think I'm calm!!

However in the day to day stresses of life, the internal chaos of my mind can be a nightmare. But still you couldn't really pick it from the outside. My anxiety is extreme but the symptoms are really internal. I feel like I'm dying but look completely normal to other people.

I think it's different for everyone, either way though, anxiety absolutely blows and it's extremely difficult to control even when you want to.

I have anxiety, and I actually tend to get super calm and rational in situations where others are freaking out. I don't know why.

BUT that's me. Anxiety isn't the same for everyone.

Obviously he's not offering you the kind of support you want, so you need to just stop relying on him for it. You can't demand that a person be how you want them to be, no matter how needy you feel. If he's not giving you what you need by way of support, have a talk over it and see what changes he can make... but seriously, look for support elsewhere, from someone who CAN do what you require them to.
