Question What thermometer do you use?

As the title says, what thermometer do you use and would you recommend it?

I bought a vicks forehead thermometer the other day and used it on my son last night but not convinced of it's accuracy. Maybe I'm just not using it properly...

After having a cheapie/middle of the line one, we bought a Braun 'Thermoscan' and are very happy with it. It's one where you still put it in the ear and is digital and apparently very accurate.

Very easy to use, very easy to read and has covers for the insertion end and none of our kids/baby balk at us using it on them which is a bonus.

We use a digital thermometer that you put under the arm or in the mouth. It wasn't expensive, probably bought from Target or somewhere similar, but works fine.

I have the Braun one you put in the ear, like they use at hospitals. So easy to use, takes no time at all, cost $100 but well worth it IMO
