Well AF turned up again yesterday. Temps let me know it was coming, but there's always that little part that thinks maybe this is the time so it's still a crushing disappointment

I'd been feeling so good this month, staying relaxed, going to acupuncture and exercising regularly and eating well. Was hoping maybe the stars would align and it would just happen. I put off last month's orders for a post-o blood test and hubby's SA so they're back on the cards now. Time to get things checked out, we're in to our 7th cycle TTC and I've been off the pill for over a year. Considering our age and lifestyles I'm starting to get the horrible feeling something isn't right.

If only I'd known it wouldn't be easy.

Hugs gamermum, it's never an easy thought that something may not be quite right. It sounds like you've been doing all you can to be successful.

Just remember that it does just take some people a while to conceive. It's only something like a 20% shot each month - humans are actually not very fertile!

It sounds like the sooner you do the tests the better, if only for your peace of mind either way. In a weird way it was comforting to know that despite everything we did, DH's swimmers just didn't have a good chance of getting to where they needed to go - we could stop putting our trust in luck, temping and timing and give ourselves over to science. Despite the poking, prodding and medication it was quite liberating knowing we had done all we could and it was now up to the experts - our sex life became much more relaxed and natural during our IVF cycle - we just wanted to enjoy each other again.
