lol I suppose they do! I woke my DH this morning by cheerfully saying "wake up honey, it's time to play jab-jab!" Let's see how cheerful I am in another couple of weeks

    Hi Girls,

I have been avoiding the forums getting depressed. I saw the naturopath for about 3 months with no success. I have moved onto acupuncture weekly which I'm having movement in that area whicj is the mist positive thing thats happened since stopping the pill but still no ovulation or period going on to day 135!

I'm am so confused I'm fighting with myself if I should do clomid round 2 and just hope it works and then I keep the pregnancy and don't mc due to higher incidence in clomid. I really just need someone to tell me what to do!

Here is my very long chart so far!

At least with all this natural stuff I can say I'm healthy and my weight is on a downward slide! Gotta look at the positives hey? I'm totally broke with the weekly sessions and all the herbal supplements haha!

Sorry things haven't been going well for you Yolanda- good on you for trying to take control of it though! I don't know if it's a possibility, but maybe you could ask your doc (or specialist if you're seeing one) about being given one of the drugs which is used to trigger ovulation in ivf? I know clomid is supposed to help with that, but it sounds like you may need something a bit more heavy duty.

    Hi Arlias,
I only did 1 round of Clomid and wasn't to impressed with the side effects and the specialist wanted me to double to dose so decided to try naturally before double the side effects.
I did heaps of reading before jumping into natural remedies but nothing as yet is working I'm sure clomid will work if I did it again but I also know that the MC rates are higher with clomid so it's a catch 22!

I'm going to talk to the acupuncturist this week when I see her again and see what she thinks of clomid as I know that acupuncture often works alongside IVF so might be similar with clomid?

Hi Yolanda, I too salute you for trying to ovulate naturally, when I found out I had PCO I was shocked and didn't have the patience to try to ovulate naturally. I'd been on the BCP for 4 years and when I came off it it took 3 months before I did ovulate naturally, just after that first AF I found out I had PCO and went straight to an FS who prescribed clomid for me and I did 3 unsuccessful cycles on it (50mg, 100mg & 150mg) 200mg is the highest dose so I could have done one more but in the meantime we found out DH had male fertility issues so we then went to IVF. I've read that clomid isn't that effective in PCOS girls and FSH injections are better, which would have been my next step if we didn't go to IVF. have you had your partner checked out?

I am going in tomorrow for my 1st egg retrieval! As you can see in my signature my 1st cycle of IVF was cancelled so I am happy we have gotten to this point on the 2nd cycle but starting to feel nervous about tomorrow. for lots of mature eggs!!
