DF woke me up at 530 to take over feeding DD and putting her back to bed. Might not sound like a nice thing but for the last two nights (since I got home from hospital) he's done all night times with her so I can sleep. He just ran out of steam tonight.

And yesterday he was ranting about the fact he couldn't stay in the hospital with me. He knew the nights had been kinda bad after a middie screwed with my very happy DD just didn't realise how bad until yesterday (after doing the night time by himself) and was very angry about not being able to stay and help.

All this he's done on his own, without me asking for him to and all yesterday was trying to get me to go back to bed and rest, even though I got full nights sleep and he didn't.

DP and I run a business together - the beautiful man is doing it all by himself today to give this aching pregnant body a rest. I slept til 9.30 had some food and I'm posting this back in bed

Just need to share somewhere. I'm so excited!!! DF has agreed to a compromise on our wedding. He did have his heart set on a big sit down dinner for the reception that's catered and what not but he's just said he'd compromise on the reception, so long as we can still have a Catholic ceremony. I might get to get married next year after all!!! Yay!

The nice thing that happened to me today was that I realised I don't have anything on tomorrow. So excited about spending some quality time on the couch, in my pj's, several cups of tea and cartoons with my DD.

I realised what true friendship is yesterday. It was 30+ degrees yet 6 of our friends and my parents spent the day helping us wheel 14 tonnes of dirt from our driveway to our back yard, leveled the yard, rolled the 100kg roller numerous times and then laid turf. They won't benefit from it (apart from having a level surface to put the table tennis table on, as the boys excitedly pointed out) yet they spent the entire day working so hard. They're AMAZING!

My 2y8m old ds came over for a cuddle before (I am lying on the couch hungover and sorry for myself) and said "you look like a princess, I love you mummy"

Had a nice swim at mum and dads with bub then she had her bottle, put her into the cot wide awake, I could hear her playing then it all went silent and she has put herself to sleep :-)

ETA then I had a quick nap on the lounge before mum and my sister decided it would be funny to wake me up lol!
