    Last time I added a little bit of treacle (which I didn't even know was in my cupboard) and they turned out extra chewy.

    Just in case somene was considering making this recipe on the link, having just read through the ingredient quantities I think it may be wrong, as I have never heard of putting one tablespoon of bi-carb in Anzac biscuits. It seems like way too much, as anytime I have ever made them they have 1/2 a teaspoon or 3/4 teaspoon at best. I could be wrong, but it just seems like an excessive amount and I would imagine would ruin the taste.

    (Of course, happy to stand corrected too ).

    Yeah my recipe I've used a doz times is almost identical to this, except it's only half a teaspoon
