Default Recruitment consultants - it takes a certain type...

Has anyone dealt with one who wasn't: rude, presumptuous, uninterested (in listening to you), fake, snarky, overbearing?

Its hard not to be put off a job you've applied for due to dealing with recruitment agents.., they're horrid people. Yes I get their job is basically sales but that is no excuse to be an ar.se!

Wait, I did deal with one agent once who was totally lovely, one! I remember her name. I remember nice people!

Being a parent is hard enough. Looking for a job and dealing with agents is enough to make you want to stay home and be poor instead.

DP is a boilermaker so he often has to use recruitment companies and he HATES them. He had one guy once who eventually got him a job....one where his life was at risk on the first day. DP walked out of the job after almost being crushed by a machine that someone switched on after he tagged and locked it to be left off while he worked on it...the recruitment agent sent DP an email saying "thanks for wasting my time"
