    Default Ants and frogs!

    Two questions...
How can I stop frogs from getting in my toilet!? I live rurally and they're everywhere.

And second, I have a major ant problem outdoors. I can't hang clothes without them crawling all over me and the girls freak.
I've tried ant rid and ant sand.

    TIA!

    sorry no idea re frogs.

Ants are my bug bear - we have a huge ant problem. One thing I've learned though is they need experts to treat them as there are 6 different varieties where we live alone and it's almost impossible to tell them apart (as they are so tiny). Each type eats something different and many of the ant products only treat one or two varieties and not all of them.

We have our place treated bi annually for ants. If they are outside and you can see what they look like you can use a product like Amdro. It's good for outdoor brown ants (which you do also find inside). It's extremely expensive though and you shouldn't use it if you have chickens roaming as it can harm them. But if it's not the right type of ant it won't work.

Having tried every product available I would recommend getting a pest control person in - I found it was the only thing that worked.

Frogs in the toilet - you just have to get used to them. Just carry on as usual, and use a fairly gentle cleaner so you don't burn them. They are so cute.

I have a MAJOR ant phobia! I just freak out if they're in the house - they just make me a basket case. I'd be getting the pest controller in TODAY!!!

I've noticed far fewer ants around since I started putting a few drops of eucalyptus oil in the mop bucket. Maybe try it outside? I'd use a spray bottle with some water and eucalyptus oil in it and spray the ant-affected areas with that.
