Thanks Chunkydunks and Heyside Today has been rough. Not only do I feel disappointed about my cycle failing, stupid AF has to cause me SO much pain! Anyway, I start injections again on Friday. So I'm getting focussed now.

I have a question for Love_Monkey_Heart, if you're still reading this thread! When your first cycle failed this time around, did you do anything different for the next one?
Last time my first FSH cycle was the one that worked, so I'm left wondering what was different this time... I know it is probably just luck! I'm such a control freak, I want to know why it didn't work!

Hey violethope. I really hope that you next cycle works but I just wanted you to be prepared that it might not work. My friend got pregnant 1st round on fsh 5 yrs ago. Nearly 2 yrs later same treatment still not pregnant. They haven't been back to back but at least 7-8 cycles in a year.

Oh no Violethope, so sorry to hear you are having to suffer pain from af too, not what you need when you are trying to focus on next FSH round. Just thought I would let you know when we were ttc DD my first cycle of injections was unsuccessful, I ovulated but didn't manage to catch the egg. However second cycle we decided to do our own thing and instead of listening to the advice given to us by fertility clinic as when to BD we tried as much as possible during the ovulation window and that worked for us. Fingers crossed for cycle no. 2.
