Hi Heyside! Your story sounds much like mine! I did 2 failed (no O) clonus cycles in 2011 before conceiving on FSH injections first go. I am in the middle of my first cycle TTC for #2 and we went straight to FSH, I'm on day 8 of injections. I see a fertility dr, haven't had much luck with gynaecologists. She is great, sees no point in wasting time and money. So hopefully you can go straight to FSH. Do you have any cycle? I don't. I'm crossing my fingers tightly for this cycle - I had a scan yesterday, one lovely 11mm dominant follie!! So hopefully we're on track for the big O early next week!

I honestly thought I'd be pregnant again by now. Even though still irregular my cycles are more regular. And I got af whilst bf'ing 4 mths post birth!!! Normal fertile women don't get it that early sometimes till they stop bf'ing!! I hope all the vitamins will start working soon.

I reckon I was pregnant last yr sometime but it didn't progress because I had a scan done on my ovaries to check on my pcos and they found a sac...and the sonographer kept asking me if there was any chance that I could've been pregnant 2 months prior to that scan. And I'm thinking what's she on about?? And thought she just had no idea about pcos.

Hi heyside. Fingers crossed for this cycle.

This cycle will just be another "see what happens" round. I keep forgetting to buy opks and with work being a bit busy and exhausting I'm yet to see the dr. Really couldn't be bothered but I know I should. Ah well.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Sent from my pho....oh who am I kidding. It's rarely used as a phone

Hi Violethope, great to hear someone who is on a similar track to myself, the doctor I will be seeing is a gynaecologist and fertility specialist too, maybe I should push for FSH injections too then, was wondering if I may have to try Clomid again and if there was a greater chance of it working this time with metformin already in my system but suppose there's no point wasting my time. I thought I had started with short cycles this time round but now think it was more like break through bleeding with no ovulation, which seems to be better than 1st time round where I had no natural af or bleeding at all for 9 months. Good luck with this cycle, hope the follie grows well and you catch it first time like last time . Will see how my appointment goes at the end of the month and will see how I go.

Well it's cd10 today. Af officially finished yesterday but I always wait till next day cause I've had that bit of bleeding before towards end. At least now we can bd lol...not that it might happen as both my husband and I are both sick!! But if I go by this last cycle and it's a 30ish day cycle then best bd days would be throughout next week. Got a gynae appt in 2 wks with my local woman's hospital and will tell them what's going on. I know most likely I'll be told thats it's something that happens in women with pcos!

That's confusing Proud Mumma! Tracking cycles is so difficult with PCOS. Hope the gyn can help you!

Violet - Yes MrsPump sounds familiar too!! I'm still in touch with 4 other girls who were also in that group(basically the original members) as I was the last of them to get pregnant. Great to be on the journey together again

Heyside - You were also on the TTC pcos #1 group with me too!! I was a different username then. My DS is 17months. I'm the same as you and had the failed clomid cycles and then feel pregnant of FSH. I just went back to my FS and we started FSH again. Clomid failed to even get me close to ovulating so there was definitely no point in doing that again. I fell pregnant forst go of FSH with mys on but unfortunately wasn't so lucky this time around. I'm currently in the TWW of my second cycle and due to get a BT on th 17th.

Proudmumma - Hope you and DH are feeling better and you get to BD alot!!

AFM: Keeping busy waiting for the 17th to come around for my bt. I had a bt to check my progesterone levels on Tuesday which was 6 and yesterday which had increased to 30 so that is looking well. Just hope this follie decides to nestle in.

Do you mind me asking what name you were before Love Monkey? Just want to connect the dots!
Good luck until the 17th, oh how I HATE waiting!! Your progesterone sounds promising
