Hi @Heyside - I only did that one cycle of gonal F and after 21 days of injections (went up from 37.5 to 50 by the end, I think) I didn't have any big follicles so I switched to IVF as quick as I could. After 12 months of trying on clomid then gonal F I was getting impatient.

So I had an embryo transfer yesterday and can have a pregnancy test in about 10 days!

I hope your journey is going ok xo

    Wow...fingers crossed lemoncakes.

Things haven't progressed for me at all. A month ago I had the atart of what I thought was af. 2 days of very light spotting was all I got. 3 days later I had another day of spotting and 4 days after that another day. I've only just started spotting again so we'll see if this progresses into a real af. So there were about 5 hpts done including one at the gp and a lot of hoping but nothing. In thw laat 2 weeks I've ballooned by 5kg and I'm looking very bloated. I need to get that referral but the gp thinks she can take carw od things yet won't do much investigation when these things are far from normal for me.

Rant rant. But I'm just get over it.

    How is everyone else going?

Good luck lemon pancakes. Hopefully 3rd cycle lucky!

Same for me. ..nothing goung right at all. Eavh time I get provera/primolut induced af my lining doesn't shed enough. Three ultrasounds still same. Even took provera again a month ago and it didn't even work!!! I got af but I could tell it was my normal one as it wasn't as heavy as when on those tabs. I have to have a curette wirh biopsy to see if anything more serious is up

Not on waiting list yet though.

Lemonpancakes - wow hun how exciting!!! Really hoping that that embryo is settling in nicely and you get your bfp very very soon sending baby dust to you hun . Keep us updated, would be nice to hear some positive news soon .

Chunkydunks - So sorry not much is happening hun, I think you need to insist on a referral, it is not normal what is happening to you at the moment and it needs sorting, I know easier said than done Can you see another doctor???

ProudMumma - So frustrating hun that your lining isn't shedding! Hope the tests show what is going on so you can move forward, so do you not have any idea when that will be as you are not on the list?

AFM - Ready and raring for cycle number 3 with injections just have a strange feeling that its not going to work for me though this time. I had a very very stressful second cycle when 4 follies developed but still got a bfn and af this morning . We have a few things to think about and IUI was suggested as a possibility for this cycle but we are not sure if we are ready to go there yet!

Hi ladies! Wondering if I can join???
Dh and I have been talking about TTC number 2 but I'm anxious about how long it will take etc etc. I don't feel like we are in any rush and if I was the type of person who fell pregnant easily I would wait 6 months but I'm worried if we hold off for longer It will be like last time and we will be waiting and waiting. Also I've been slowly losing weight so hopefully that will help a little. I'm on the pill and feel like finishing it tonight and starting the journey again! I'm wondering if I should go back to my GP and tell her what I'm thinking about... Hmmm
Anyways I'm rambling. Hello to everyone!

Welcome Wbm. How long did it take u to get pregnant the first time? I'll be 35 next month and my son will be 3yrs old and as much as I try not to stress about it I am. My pcos + several other health conditions and my age ate working against me. My son took 3.5yrs to conceive!

WannaBamumma - Welcome to the thread, we were in a very similar position as you, we weren't in that much of a rush for bub no.2 but expected it to take a long time after the first experience, its so far been 9 months since we initially went to see the doctor but we have only been trying seriously for about 5 months. Really hoping it wont take as long as you expect this time round, well done on loosing some weight. I was also on the pill and went to see my GP before starting the journey and coming off the pill, I have changed doctors since trying for DD and found him to be amazing and so supportive which has been great, although I have now moved onto a fertility clinic for more help.

ProudMumma - Hopefully you get put on the list in 2 weeks and can start to make a step forward .

AFM - I have had a few changes in my plan of action as of Friday, my FS was very surprised to hear I wasn't pregnant and has offered me a hycosy and ultrasound to see what is going on. I have decided to go ahead with the tests and hopefully if everything is good I can then begin another cycle of FSH injections in the new year . I have heard the Hycosy can flush out your tubes and improve your chances for conception not sure if that is true or not but really hoping so.

First time for me took just over 12 months which doesn't sound like too long when I read some other posts. I was only 25 though so thought I would fall easily but of course my body had other ideas! I will never forget the stress that comes with wanting something so bad and not being able to have it. My fertility specialist told us it would be near impossible to fall pregnant without assistance but we got our miracle BFP just before we started clomid. I'm hoping it works that way this time but I think I'm more prepared for it too.

WannaBamumma - I know what you mean, it took me 12 months with dd too which did feel like forever at the time especially as we were never sure if anything was going to work. It can all be very stressful, I thought I would be more relaxed about it all this time around and be ready for the long haul and I was at first but now I am getting inpatient and more issues seem to be appearing making things even harder. Great news that you didn't need any help last time in the end though hun

AFM - My hycosy has been booked for Monday, which will be later than planned as will be cd12. I have also been put back on the pill for 2 months so can't start ttc again until the end of January mainly because the Christmas holidays will fall just at the time I will need scans otherwise.

So I have just been diagnosed with PCOS and I am feeling a little overwhelmed. I have never really had an symptoms, and then just as we are trying for baby no.2 my AF becomes irregular. I am assuming that I am not ovulating as my ultrasound showed over 30 under-developed follicles. However I do chart my BBT, CM and use OPKs and they all indicated ovulation.

I guess I am wondering if the gyno will prescribe me Clomid, or will I have to wait another couple of months to see if my body regulates itself? Preferably I would love to get things going as soon as possible as we are a same sex couple and conception is already a complicated process for us.

Can PCOS remain dormant and then just show up? Looking back, the diagnosis does make sense as I have always had trouble losing weight and i struggle with adult acne, yet my cycles have always been regular. Plus we conceived our toddler first go, so ovulation has never been an issue.

Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated I am feeling a little confused.
